Yesterday evening, a Seguin CASE Unit K9 handler conducted a traffic stop on IH-10 near mile marker 617. During the officers investigation, he deployed Narcotic Detection K9 Kyra for a free air sniff around the vehicle, which led to a probable cause search. Officers were able to discover 16 bundles (totaling 17.535 kilos) of co***ne! An estimated street value of $560,480.00!

Meet Roux, our newest K9 addition! Roux is a 2-year-old German Shepherd from the Netherlands. K9 Roux, alongside his handler Cpl. Cameron Rudisill, just completed a 4-week handlers' course at Hill Country Dog Center in Pipe Creek, Texas. Roux is trained in narcotics detection, tracking, building searches and criminal apprehension. We’re excited to welcome him to CPSO!
