🐺🩸 WHO’S AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD WOLF? ❤️

Little Red Riding Hood thought she was just taking a stroll through the neighborhood… but she clearly took a wrong turn somewhere along the way! 😂

Looks like the Big Bad Wolf has a new favorite patient, and we’re not entirely sure Little Red is making it out of this one unscathed!

No animals were harmed in the making of this Halloween adventure… although a few questionable life choices may have been made. 🤣

🎃 Happy Halloween from all of us at White Mountain Animal Hospital!

Last week’s staff meeting included something close to our hearts: a surprise baby shower for Ashlynn! 🍼💕

We share so much of our everyday lives with the people we work beside, and it means a lot to be able to celebrate these special moments together. Taking a little time to shower Ashlynn with love before she welcomes her baby was such a sweet part of our week.

Ashlynn, you mean so much to this team. We’re grateful for you, excited for your growing family, and looking forward to meeting your little one. We hope you felt just how loved and supported you are by your White Mountain Animal Hospital team. 💚

Please help us send Ashlynn and her family lots of love as they get ready for their newest addition! 👶💕

📞 Our phones are back up—for now!

We’re working through the voicemails received during the outage and appreciate your patience as we return calls.

Unfortunately, a service technician won’t be available to come out until tomorrow, so we may experience additional internet and phone interruptions between now and then.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to get everything running reliably again! 🐾

Last week was a whirlwind—both figuratively and literally. 💚

On the same day that two tornadoes touched down in our area, one of our own doctors experienced a medical emergency and had to be transported by ambulance to the ER. It was an overwhelming day for our team and our community, and we’re grateful for the kindness you showed us through it.

We’re happy to share that our doctor is doing well, on the mend, and expected to be back in the office soon! 🐾

To our clients who adjusted appointments, sent thoughtful messages, and met our unexpected closure with patience and understanding—thank you. Your support gave our team the chance to focus on someone who needed us, and that meant so much.

We spend our days caring for your pets, and last week, you gave us the space to care for one of our own. We’re thankful to be part of a community that shows up for each other, even when the week takes an unexpected turn. 💚

With gratitude,
Your White Mountain Animal Hospital Team

📣 Pet Parent PSA: Wedgewood Pharmacy Voluntary Recall

Wedgewood Pharmacy has announced a voluntary recall of certain compounded veterinary medications due to concerns that they may contain too much or too little of the active ingredient.

Affected medications were shipped between February 18 and October 6, 2026. The recall applies to specific products and lots, so please check your pet’s medication information.

🐾 What should you do?

• Check your medication: Have the container handy and review the affected products, lot numbers, and expiration dates using [Wedgewood’s recall lookup](https://www.wedgewood.com/recall-lookup/).

• If your medication is affected: Wedgewood instructs owners to stop using it, keep the product, and call its recall services at 866-562-5931 for refund or replacement assistance.

• Contact your prescribing veterinarian promptly or a plan to keep your pet’s treatment on track, especially if they depend on daily medication. Do not adjust doses or substitute medications yourself.

If your pet seems unwell or you have concerns about their medication, please contact your veterinarian.

Our White Mountain Animal Hospital clients can reach us at (928) 368-8425. 💚 Please share to help other pet families stay informed!

🐾 A quick reminder for today!

Our hospital will be closed from 12:00–2:00 PM today, Thursday, October 22, while our team takes a little midday pause for a staff meeting that has been planned for a few weeks. We’ll be back at 2:00 PM, ready to see you and your pets! 🐾

We also want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for your understanding yesterday. A medical emergency involving one of our own doctors meant we had to close the clinic early so we could be there for a member of our team.

We know that meant unexpected changes for some of you, and your patience, kind words, and concern meant so much to us during a difficult day. Our team cares deeply about your families, and feeling that care returned is something we don’t take for granted.

Thank you for showing up for us with kindness when we needed it. We’re so grateful to be part of this community. 💚
