Please be careful - deadly blue green algae

PET OWNERS that take their dogs to lakes and creeks, please read this warning from Morgan & Patrick Fleming.
This morning we thought, it’s so hot! Let’s go to the lake! We took our sweet Arya to the lake and had the best day playing ball and swimming around! About 30 minutes later on the drive home, we noticed her making weird noises and she threw up and pooped in the car. We called our vet on the drive and they suggested we take her in. By this point our girl couldn’t even stand. They told us she was in critical condition so we took her to the ER. By the time we got there, she was brain dead. Today was absolutely awful. We lost our fun, loving, and crazy girl to what we can only assume was a lake toxin such as blue green algae. Arya, no dog will ever replace you in our hearts. We already miss you more than you could know. I hope you’re running around like a wild girl with all the other boarder collies in doggo heaven.

🌷Tulip and Cherry Blossom 🌸 (as well as our pup Sunny ☀️ down the road) are in heat, so they’re having lots of play time in the kitchen with Apple and Apollo (Sweet Pea x Toby), while the boys are outside.

🐝 We will be breeding Tulip on her next heat cycle in about ~6 months or so, and just recently opened up our waitlist. Puppies should be born in spring and ready to go home early summer 2026.

Our waitlist requires:
1. a phone call
2. if approved, review our contract and fill out our application
3. another phone call
4. a deposit

💚🐝 Miss Light Green Girl, now officially Golden Beekeeper’s Where The Red Fern Grows, call name Fern, made it home last night to New Orleans, Louisiana! Matt and Kim Thompson and their two children, picked her up on 7/25! She did great along the drive, stopping for lots of breaks. They are already in love with her sweet, fun, and playful personality as their newest family member who will travel with them on family vacations. The kids have been reading up in preparation of bringing her home and have already created a walk schedule for their family - what a lucky pup! 🐝💚

💙🐝 Miss Dark Blue Girl is now lovingly known as Golden Beekeeper’s Pretty Penny, call name Penny! Matt and Katie Guarriello, and their three boys, drove out from Virginia to bring Penny home on 7/21! Matt will be upland hunting with their new girl, and the whole family is looking forward to traveling with her on their adventures. Penny is settling right in to her new life on their mini-farm, where they have acreage, chickens, turkeys, goats, another dog, and a cat! So far she loves the turkeys, is indifferent to the chickens, is intrigued by the goats, and would love a relationship with the cat! 🐝💙
