Doggie Styles Pet Salon would like to say a humbled Thank You to the Pinckney and surrounding communities for supporting me for 12 wonderful years and trusting us with you're pets to make them beautiful and happy. It's a job I've held for 30+ years and enjoy very much. I've made friends and family along the way and also pets I think of as family.
Being kicked out of the building for my business has been very hard and forced me to make some decisions about opening a new salon or not. Mill Pond Animal Hospital graciously allowed us to keep our business in Pinckney while I made a decision. We have looked at several places but they just didn't fit, then a building opened and became a great opportunity for Kaylee to open a new salon of her own.

I am excited for our new home and helping Kaylee along the way as she navigates her new business ownership in Pinckney.
I will always miss and appreciate my time at Doggie Styles but am looking ahead to this new journey
A special Thank You to Missy and John Diehr at Millpond along with their incredible staff for being so welcoming and supportive and will always be grateful to them for keeping us in Pinckney.

This will be my last post on this as things are being said that need to be clarified.

I was given 5 months, by text, that my 12 year lease was not going to be renewed for 2023. No reason other than its none of my business/restructuring. I knew it was going to her daughter but was silenced to say anything and threatened.
6 years ago I encouraged my landlords daughter to become a groomer as I desperately needed one. She took a basic course from an accredited school which she graduated from, and I was to teach her sc******ng and help her further her grooming skills of which I did.
What happened and why she left is between us but it ultimately led to me being kicked out and was told specifically why. She was supposed to take over when I retired. Was I treated unfairly? Yes! Did I deserve to be kicked out? No! But it wasn't my building and her daughter groomed now.
We need to move on now and be better in this new year. I do not wish anyone ill in any endeavor and wish Lisa every success. It's been very devastating and emotional for me but life goes on. We will get through this.
We have graciously been given a place in town to groom and keep our clients at Mill Pond Animal Hospital. Missy, John and staff have all been so welcoming to us. Finding a new place is tough, most places are too big and some a lot of work to get up and running.. We also lost 2 of our groomers to being pregnant at the same time so it's just Kaylee and I now.
Thank you for supporting and giving us words of encouragement and all your help with scouting potential places. Love to all.

We have made it to Millpond Animal Hospital and settling in. When you come in for your appointment please come in through the front door, let them know you have a grooming and they will let us know. Please prepare for you're next appt ahead of time.
Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Please make check out to Mill Pond Animal Hospital. We still have our phone number 734-878-9505 so you can get hold of Kaylee and I. Can't wait to see you for you're grooming needs.

I will miss this place. This is not just a building for me. It's a sense of accomplishment, love of what I do, establishing and connecting within the community and making friends along the way. It's my heart and soul. I'm sad on this day and took some time walking though the empty space touching walls and shedding some tears and thankful for the time spent there with my girls and all the pets/clients that have past through the door. Best co-workers ever

Letting everyone know that the phone line will be down until Tuesday around noon. I guess I thought we could just use wifi and plug in but it would mess with the other lines at Millpond. We are getting settled in and can't wait to be up and operational. Thank you for your continued patience.
