Do you know what it's like to photograph 6 week old puppies?
You have no personal space.
They are all close ups.
You get a lot of your legs or feet.
You want individual pics?
That's not happening as they don't know sit stay.
They have no life preservation skills and will jump off anything. Or just fall off.
Sleeping is the only time they stay still and well. Sometimes that's cute...
Super friendly and social. My sister came by today to see our new show chickens and baby talk the puppies. They wanted her to pick them all up. Most of them did get picked up.

Here they are in their 6 week glory!

How is this little girl still looking for her family?!

5 weeks old and getting cuter by the day.

This beautiful blue merle Miniature American Shepherd girl is sweet, curious, and starting to show us more of her personality every day. She is very very people oriented and just cannot stand to be out of touch of anyone. She LOVES people!!!

She is still looking for the right family to call her own. 🏡🐾

🍁 Fall is better with a puppy. 🐾

Cool mornings, crunchy leaves, cozy evenings…and a little four-legged shadow following you through all of it. ❤️

Our Miniature American Shepherd puppies are growing fast, and their individual personalities are really starting to shine. They’re curious, playful, learning about the world around them, and becoming more fun by the day.

And yes — we still have puppies looking for their perfect families! 🏡

If you’ve been thinking about adding a Miniature American Shepherd to your family, fall can be a wonderful time to bring home a puppy. Cooler weather makes outdoor adventures and training more enjoyable, and there’s plenty of time to build a great routine before the busy holiday season.

At Waterfall Miniature American Shepherds, our goal isn’t simply to produce pretty puppies. We breed with purpose, focusing on temperament, health, structure and breed type. We spend weeks getting to know each puppy so we can help match the right puppy with the right home.

🐾 Raised with hands-on care and socialization
🐾 Parents are health tested
🐾 Temperament and structure matter
🐾 Puppies are evaluated individually
🐾 Lifetime breeder support

We are located in Pillager, Minnesota, and welcome families looking for a well-bred Miniature American Shepherd in Minnesota and surrounding states.

🍂 Maybe the puppy who joins you for next year’s fall adventures is already here waiting to meet you.

Our newest chicken Doghorn Leghorn.
So a well socialized and trained Mini American will put up with a lot. As long as attention and treats are involved along with a good time Swagger is always in!

5 weeks old today and this little boy couldn't be any sweeter.
Puppies have been joining me outside while i work on the chicken coop and the new coop and are enjoying the weather as much as I am. 3 weeks before they can fly the coop themselves. This guy is looking for his own place to stay. Playing with his daddy who is so dang sweet with the young ones! www.waterfallaussies .com for more information on our kennel.
