The Junior Handlers brought the class season to a close with a run your own course night last Wednesday. Witnessing the development and progress of these kids throughout the season has been fantastic. Their passion for dog handling and their pets is genuinely inspiring. We loved seeing Rory Bauer one last time before she heads off to college. Juniors, don't forget your training over the summer, and we'll see you when we return in September! ❤️🐾🐾 Rory Bauer

A HUGE shout out to all the wonderful competitors who came out to this weekend's NADAC trial at the PATCH. Yes we had some warmer than usual weather...but not only did you show up with smiles on...when I asked for volunteers to help set up Saturday AM, course build Sat. evening, reset a new course Sunday AM, course build Sunday evening AND stay and pack up Sunday night...you were there!!! We had the lights shut off by 10:59 pm on Saturday evening (I guess you could call it NIGHT by that hour!) and 11:01 Sunday evening. A special thanks to Julie Harbo and Rick McElroy for helping pack up my stuff Sunday evening by the headlights of my van (city ordinance...lights out by 11 pm!)

Congrats to Tine Rey for Arya's Nth NATCH (she won't tell us how many)...and to all who strove for progress in their journey with their dog (s). I think many will agree one of the spectacular runs of the trial was Cindy Sandstrom and Whiz conquering the Elite Chances course not once by twice! That course was TOUGH!!!!! We all held our collective breaths watching in AWE!

Thanks to our judge Karin Bell for designing and bringing courses that were challenging, fun and educational (e.g....what we need to work on!!!). And to Julie Harbo, our show secretary to kept us up to date with scores on the Google Drive.

Greetings all!
Here are the 2026 prices for tunnels. These prices include shipping and the customs broker fee...as of NOW! We really do not know if there will be a change in that until we actually transport the order as it is based on the US position toward Canada. But as of now...these are the prices we would expect to use.

By ordering through a distributor (me...and I just happen to be the one who coordinates the order...so we get a group price)...you do not pay handling fees, etc...that you would if ordering direct from the website. I am also checking on whether they would make a 21' and 16' tunnels since unless these are stretched out to the max soon after you get them...they may be a bit short.

These are great for home and class use...but some have been shorter and that may affect using them in competition. I should have that information soon.

So If you are interested...I will start taking orders on Saturday, May 9th. I will look to place the order on the 25th. Please do not pay yet...because I need to make sure we have enough orders. I will close orders on the 19th. I will need all money to me by the 22nd. You should be able to begin paying by next week...I will let you know.

When you contact me with your order I will need the following information:Your name, email, quantity, length, pitch, and color. Write that out for each tunnel ordered.

Soooo...is anyone in Arizona interested in me doing another tunnel order from Norvent? I will need around 30 tunnels total for the order to be cost effective. Last year we had so many ordered that there was a separate delivery in New Mexico, Reno and southern, CA. I am willing to arrange more than just Phoenix, AZ if the interest is there! you can respond to this...with a General Interest or email me at [email protected]. I will check with my contact to see if the prices remain the same as last year...I'm pretty sure they do...and buying in a group purchase is definitely less expensive!

JCAC Equipment Silent Auction

Jumping Chollas Agility Club has some used equipment that it would like to see happily rehomed in an agility enthusiast’s yard! Are you that potential new owner?

Once you click on the site you will see pictures of the items listed below. Bidding starts on May 4th and ends on May 13th. If you are interested in an item(s) click on the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet to take you to that item. Then fill in the form as requested. At 8 pm on May 13th we will close the forms and after that contact those who won the bids. The site will be monitored so please do not change another person’s bid. If you want to rebid higher just fill in the line below the latest bid. You can bid as many times as you want! If you have questions, please contact Wendy Hultsman at [email protected]

Items in the Auction
Rubber-coated dog walk with low slats. There is some wear on the ramps from class use, however the walk itself will work just fine for home training! Bidding starts at $300 and raises by $20 increments

Nineteen sets of metal non- wing jumps…each set contains two jumps. There are no jump poles with the sets but they can easily be made from PVC. There are jump feet.

One set of metal non-wing jumps that have the old diagonal feet on one side. Again, no jump bar.

Stanchions from an old set of AKC panel jumps. They can definitely be used as regular wingless jumps though.
