In loving memory of wonderful Abby. This beauty was a Shepherd-Husky mix rescue pup who loved to eat. She also would do funny things like unravel the toilet paper and drag it all the way into her owner’s bedroom and under the bed! She used to like hiding places where she could lay flat like a pancake. Over the years, she helped her human dad foster over 200 dogs, all of whom found homes or stayed with them. Abby was amazing with children, and one of the family grandkids actually spoke her name as one of their first words. The grandkids loved sharing their waffles with her and considered Abby their best buddy. Rest easy, good girl.

In loving memory of a St. Bernard girl named Delilah Rose. This lovely pup’s story began when a young girl bought three-month old Delilah with her piggy bank savings: a mere $21. Back then, her name was "Meatball." The girl’s father was worried—his daughter was small, and Delilah, even as a puppy, was strong. One day, while walking her, the girl fell and broke her arm. Heartbroken but determined, the girl remembered meeting a nice lady who loved dogs and asked her to adopt Delilah. The little girl cried and cried as she said goodbye; Delilah's new mom hugged the little girl tightly and whispered, "You’re making the best sacrifice a mom could make—giving your fur baby a loving home."

From that day on, Delilah Rose and her new mom became inseparable. The moment she saw her mom, Delilah would offer her paw, roll onto her belly for rubs, and cover her in smooches. Over time, Delilah became an AKC star. She posed for festive department store Santa photos, which were sent to the little girl.

Delilah adored people, radiating joy wherever she went. She was a social butterfly, even frequenting one of the local nature centers, where she happily participated in every activity. In the tougher family moments, Delilah served as a nanny dog to her human grandma, always keeping a watchful eye on her at all hours of the day. Her love was steadfast and true.

Rest easy, good girl.

Today we remember lovely Sally, a sweet beagle pup who knew her own mind. Sally adored going for walks, and if she wasn’t ready to go home, she would let her family know that she wanted to cover more ground that day! Her favorite way to sleep was with her head on the pillow and her body nestled under the sheets like a human! Sally was the focal point of her family, and everyone was very devoted to her care. She will be deeply missed. 💙

In loving memory of sweet Charlie, a gentleman with a mighty frame and a soft heart. He loved cuddle time and to rest his head on your lap. He adored food and would accept any offerings. Charlie has a “brother from another mother” waiting for him in Heaven, and their earthly family tearfully and gratefully imagines their joyous reunion. Rest easy, good boy.

Today we remember a brave and special German Shepherd named Frank. His mom and dad adopted him last year from overseas, where he had been found abandoned. They painstakingly arranged to have him brought to them in the U.S. and met him at JFK airport, where everyone commented on his wonderful demeanor. (Frank very possibly was a retired K9 officer.) After bringing Frank home, his new parents proceeded to give him the best year of his life, full of yummy snacks like turkey and chicken, and lots of hugs and quality time. Per Mom, Frank was the best boy in the world, rarely barking unless he was excited for food and graciously sharing his domain with the family’s five cats. Recently, the time had come for Frank to be given peace, and his loyal humans made the difficult but loving decision to set him free. Rest easy, buddy.

In loving memory of a beautiful yellow Labrador named Zoe, who enjoyed the comfort and security of having the same family since she was a pup. In classic Labrador fashion, Zoe was an affectionate girl who never had a mean bone in her body. She was a social butterfly, always loving to meet new people. In her prime, she was energetic and playful. She knew how to stand on her back feet to beg for treats; her Mom would throw the treats up into the air, and Zoe would jump high to catch them. Zoe possessed excellent taste in furniture and claimed a leather chair all for herself! She brought so much joy and is dearly missed already.

Today we honor the memory of lovely Sadie. Sixteen and a half years ago, Sadie joined her family. She quickly occupied a large place in the hearts of her Mom and Dad. Sadie was a bit introverted around new people, but she was her mom’s devoted shadow, following her everywhere. Food was Sadie’s primary interest, and her family thought she would have been a great seafood chef! She is dearly missed already.
