There’s a new face helping shape the future of technology and data at EverVet. Meet Ezequiel Sosa, our new Director of IT & Data! 💙

Ezequiel joins EverVet with a passion for using technology to make work easier, remove friction, and help teams focus on what they do best. For him, the most meaningful part of working in veterinary medicine is “knowing that the work we do ultimately supports the people who care for pets every day,” and he’s looking forward to bringing technology, data, and operations together in ways that make a real impact across EverVet.

He was drawn to EverVet by the opportunity to help build thoughtful, effective systems that support teams across the organization, along with a culture centered around collaboration and meaningful work.

Outside of work, Ezequiel enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, staying active, cooking, working on projects around the house, serving at his church, and learning new things.

He’s also a proud pet parent to Kade, the family Maltipoo who has plenty of personality and keeps things interesting at home. 🐾

Meet Dr. Heather Bohl, the newest veterinarian to join Just Cats! 🩺🐱

A self proclaimed cat fanatic, Dr. Bohl knew veterinary medicine would give her the opportunity to put her love of science to work serving what she affectionately calls our “precious feline overlords.”

Dr. Bohl earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in May 2025. Following graduation, she completed a yearlong small animal rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Her professional interests include internal medicine, and she's looking forward to putting her experience to work alongside a team that shares her passion for all things feline.

When she's not caring for cats, Dr. Bohl enjoys writing fiction, hiking, biking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors.

We're excited to welcome another cat fanatic to the Just Cats Veterinary Hospital team and can't wait to see all that Dr. Bohl brings to her patients and their families! 🐾

Anesthesia support does not always have to happen in the same room.

Jessica-Wilson Hess, our Director of Technician Development, created a remote monitoring setup that allows her to see the patient, the hospital team, and the multi-parameter monitor in real time. During weekly sessions with the Landrum Veterinary Hospital team, she provides guidance on anesthesia monitoring, documentation, troubleshooting, and responding to changes in the patient.

These virtual sessions are paired with in-person hospital visits to continue building relationships, strengthen hands-on skills, and provide support for the parts of anesthesia training that cannot be fully replicated through a screen.

By combining remote coaching with on-site education, we can provide consistent support while helping hospital teams build confidence and strengthen patient care.

We're excited to welcome Dr. Aurora Costin to the team at Portland Veterinary Service!

Originally from Romania, Dr. Costin discovered her passion for veterinary medicine through a lifelong love of animals, earning her bachelor's degree in Zoology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Missouri.

Dr. Costin has a special interest in feline medicine and senior pet care, with a passion for helping families navigate the unique needs of aging pets while making their care as manageable and compassionate as possible.

Outside the hospital, you'll find her reading, cooking, gardening, or enjoying time outdoors with her husband and their two cats.

Dr. Parisien's journey to veterinary medicine is one of purpose, passion, and an unexpected path.

After spending a decade working as an actor in New York and Los Angeles, he discovered a new calling while volunteering at a veterinary clinic, where he found a passion for caring for pets and supporting the families who love them.

He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine with honors after completing his veterinary education through Ross University and the University of the West Indies School of Veterinary Medicine in Trinidad. Dr. Parisien's professional interests include preventive care, internal medicine, and pain management, and he's excited to join the experienced team at Roosevelt Veterinary Center to provide compassionate, high quality care for every patient.

When he's not in the clinic, Dr. Parisien enjoys fitness, tennis, salsa and tango dancing, watching a good series, and spending time with his girlfriend, his family, and his cat, Ted.

We're excited to see the positive impact Dr. Parisien will make for pets, their families, and the Roosevelt Veterinary Center team. Welcome aboard! 🐾

Say hello to the newest member of the team at Metz Petz Veterinary Clinic of Shawnee, Dr. Laney Stephens!

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Stephens recently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Although she's new to life as a veterinarian, she's no stranger to veterinary medicine, bringing nine years of experience in the field after working as both a kennel attendant and veterinary assistant.

Dr. Stephens is passionate about caring for pets and building lasting relationships with the families who love them. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, watching Netflix, and spending time with her two clever orange cats, who have learned to ring bells and perform tricks.

As she begins this exciting new chapter in Ohio, she's looking forward to experiencing her first Ohio State football game and seeing her very first white winter.

A passion for making a difference is what led Dr. Lydia Clegg to veterinary medicine, and now that passion is bringing her to Lillington Veterinary Hospital. Please join us in welcoming her as the newest Associate Veterinarian! 🐾💙

Dr. Clegg earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from NC State College of Veterinary Medicine. She brings experience in both small animal and exotic animal medicine, with professional interests that include preventive care, senior pet medicine, surgery, and caring for exotic species.

💬 Reflecting on what inspired her career, Dr. Clegg shared, "I always wanted a career that made a difference in the world. Human medicine wasn't for me, so I turned to veterinary medicine and have never looked back!"

Outside the hospital, Dr. Clegg enjoys reading, traveling, fishing, and attending concerts. She has also cared for some truly unique patients throughout her career, including an axolotl and a peacock.
