After 26 years at Star Milling Co., Chuck Grable is retiring, and we couldn’t let him go without a big thank-you.

From the road to dispatch, Chuck has been someone we could count on. He knows the work, helps solve problems, and keeps things moving. But beyond everything he’s done, we’re going to miss having him here as part of our everyday crew. After that many years together, saying goodbye isn’t easy.

Chuck, thank you for the time, effort, and care you’ve given this team. We appreciate everything you’ve taught us and all the ways you’ve helped along the way.

We’re glad we got to celebrate you and your 26 years with us. Now it’s time for you to enjoy a little less work and a lot more time doing whatever makes you happy.

Happy retirement, Chuck! You won’t be easy to replace, and you’ll be missed.

I raise Mini Lops and Holland Lops. I have had a few Lionheads also. I am very happy with Star Milling Co for milling such great rabbit feed.”

As the days get shorter, many chicken owners notice fewer eggs in the nesting box. Decreasing daylight, seasonal molting, nutrition and other factors can all contribute.

Learn how proper nutrition, including quality poultry feed, can support your hens through seasonal changes.
