Another guitar with another great family story. My client’s family history spans all 3 panhandle counties and goes back to before statehood.
The body is constructed from an old piano bench and a section of barn wood.
The bench is where his paternal grandmother sat and learned to play hymns as a child. She would help lead worship in church, and my client vividly remembers her playing at the piano when he was a child.
The barn wood section comes from the old family farm on his mom’s side. Pics show folks working the Oklahoma soil with horse-drawn plows.
