Come along and hang out with us, and enjoy all the pics and videos from Bentley's very FIRST show! I cannot tell you guys how proud of him I am. I will NEVER make excuses as to why we didn't win, I've always been transparent with him about everything, everyone knows there's good days and bad days in competing. Especially in horses. But I will say this..... Bentley didn't win a dang thing today but experience. And you know what,,, I'm ok with that. Because it wasn't for lack of him trying to do good. We weren't the only ones that had sorry steers today. And you know what, in AQHA, the Jr class is all horses 5 and under. So Bentley was roping against horses that have already been roping for 2 years, and he's only been roping for 6 months! Because that's how talented he is! In just 6 months they felt like he was ready for a place like HOUSTON! THAT'S HUGE! And he definitely did the best he could with what he had today. We are moving on to the next one, and he is up again tomorrow in Grandbury. So he'll get another shot again tomorrow and is entered up in the heading and heeling again! Today obviously didn't go how we wanted it to,,, but it's coming, you just watch!🏆
✨️EDIT✨️: I'll add that he finished 10th out of 18 in the Heading and 13th out of 21 in the Heeling. For those of you that are wondering how he ended up. Annnd,,, he was probably the youngest horse in his class!
