Tomorrow Sully takes the first step in his journey to possibly have surgery on his legs. He'll get xrays to determine where we are, can we fix this, and how long will it take.
Keep him in your thoughts please. He's growing so quickly and is such an amazing little being.

Little Sully would like to thank everyone who has donated, shared and prayed. He got to go outside for the first time in a. L. O. N. G. time today. Judy Kulsziski and Winget said he bucked more than any thing. He loved the smells of fresh air and got to see the other horses. He actually got a tiny hoof trim and some leg braces to try out. He has sssssooooo much life in him. Please help us help Sully.

Meet Baby Sullivan, or Sully for short.
Sully came to us a few days agPayPalo needing care that his previous owner just couldnt do. He's been treated at an amazing veterinarian in Craig Colorado, and was diagnosed with severely contracted tendons in his front legs, and slightly lax tendons in the rear legs. He was promptly placed in casts and started on bottle feeding.
After a few days, the owner opted to have Sully euthanized. A family member reached out to us in an effort to try to save his life.
After some lengthy conversations, we agreed to take him in hopes of starting him on a new journey.
Several discussions with multiple veterinarians, and a short consult with CSU resulted in Sully being moved to a foster home with the space and ability to help him, had his casts removed and begun intensive stretching exercises, had new wraps put on, and some leg braces purchased (thank you aunt Dennise Winget)
Sully is so very young, at less than a month old, he has lost his momma, his herd, his home, and everything familiar to him. In addition, he almost lost his life.
What a baby!!!! Sully is fun, loving, sweet natured, full of c**t spirit, and wanting so bad to be able to walk like a normal (or somewhat normal) horse.
In order to meet that goal,
Sully needs surgery on his little legs, CSU has given us a price of 3500 for that surgery. It's the only chance he has.
We need every single person to support Sully in some way.
Donate, share, pray, do what ever you can, but time is of the essence.
It is imperative we prep him for a surgical procedure as quickly as possible in order to be ahead of his growth.
The longer we wait, the more we run the risk of pneumonia, infections, depression and growth. Although growth is good, with stretching tendons it can also be painful.
