“Matteo” is missing and not from the area so he is panicked and scared. He got away from his owner at Burger King in Pennsville and crossed the road towards the river. He has a collar and AirTag but unfortunately it’s not showing up on his owners phone. They have combed the area have not found him. Please call animal control at 609-202-2401 with any sightings. Do not chase!

“Bubby” came into the shelter in terrible shape 5 weeks ago at just 3 pounds. He was dehydrated, covered in mange, and had pneumonia. His poor little body was so sore, and inflamed, and his feet were so swollen and hurt him badly. The scales were cracking and bleeding. 100% of his body was covered😭

He was immediately seen by the vet and has been in the care of our ACO since he came in. He needed round the clock care that she was able to provide. She was able to bring him to work, he rode along with her on her daily duties, and went home with her at night.

He is now at the point to where he’s ready for his forever home🏡 He is dog, cat, and child friendly! Vibrant and exuberant! Not a mean bone in his body, and he likes everybody❤️

He will be neutered tomorrow, and available for adoption Wednesday. He’s a chihuahua and he currently weighs 7 pounds! Needless to say, hes been spoiled. 😁

We are open 10am-1pm daily, and 4-6pm Wednesday evenings. If you have another dog, bring them along for a meet/greet, and bring their rabies certificate.

Kitten fosters needed!

Must be local, and able to keep a litter of kittens for up to a month until they are ready to be spayed/neutered. (Please keep this in mind if you have vacations planned) Will need to bring them to the shelter for deworming and weight checks. All supplies will be provided by the shelter. Pm us if interested!😊

“Shadow” is a 13 pound @1-1.5 year old Chihuahua/shiba inu blend that is in search of his furever home. 😍 🏡
He’s great with kids, other dogs. He’s not a fan of cats or chickens.🐓🐈He’s was just neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and vet checked.

Stop by and meet him any day from 10am-1pm. We are open 7 days a week!

We can’t express how thankful we are to these girls for once again making bracelets and selling them to make a donation to our shelter in memory of the military animals that have died in combat for Memorial Day❤️

Hello all!

Late posting, but wanted to share!🥰

In the beginning of May we took in a pitty pup that was unable to use his rear legs. The owners vet suggested euthanasia, but we knew we could get him into a rescue where they would do everything they could to help this sweet boy thrive. Huge Thank you to Philly Bully Team for coming to his rescue❤️
They have had him to several veterinarians and he’s now been fitted with wheels so he can explore like he’s always wanted to! He’s still under veterinary treatment, but he’s believed to have scoliosis. So glad he has the opportunity for a wonderful outcome thanks to the rescue🥰
