One of the many seniors we have at the MACC:PRINCESS-69189, 13 year old spayed female who used to live with quite a # of cats(one of them, a 16 year old DM, MAYHEM, recently surrendered to MACC and already rescued, thankfully).Princess was surrendered because of health issues and also for not be a fan of her housemates. She is quite a sweetheart at the care center. Slowly coming out of a URI. She is on a special diet for alleged pancreatic insufficiency but her TLI is normal at the shelter. I am not clear about the plan in that department. She has senior teeth, of course and nuclear sclerosis like many old cats. A very pleasant cat to spend time with and really sooo sweet and gentle.
A volunteer writes:
Princess likes to be the "Princess of the House". She does not like to share the love and attention of her owners with her housemates and she lets them know. Princess is super friendly and a socialite. She is very affectionate, talkative, active, playful and absolutely loves the company of her people and visitors and can be very needy. She is a regal at the care center and spending time with her is a lot of fun. Princess would have some digestive issues(exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) for which she takes some medication mixed with special food. She is a lively cat who does not look her age of fifteen and is immediately up and about when a visitor is at her door.She absolutely loves to play and enjoys games like a kitten. Princess should be the only pet in the house and would be a great companion for a person wishing for a very loving and attentive four legged best friend. Ask to meet Princess when you visit us at the Manhattan Care Center.
