Oakley my princess has a super thick coat that must be brushed and
COMBED daily ! She gets matted within a day on a normal weather day!! We have had some flooding and lots of rain out here so she is an extra mess now ….Just a reminder with alll this rain they rub on furniture , roll in blankets or the floor /rugs , dive under furniture, you towel dry them by rubbing them with a towel instead of patting them dry. That all can also create mats ! Make sure you take the time to brush and COMB ..so I do not have to shave out or shave down you pup. I as well as you as a owner would like your dog to look nice and well kept 👍🏻

Play as the Way 1 class starts MONDAY!

Learn how to teach your dog important life skills and obedience through PLAY, and make training fun for both you and your dog!

This class will cover concepts like clear communication, training through play, basic obedience skills, leash manners, how to stop unwanted or problematic behaviors, and how to communicate to your dog when it’s time to play and when it’s time to just chill out.

This class is an especially good fit for young, energetic, and playful dogs who need an outlet for their desire to play, and self control skills!

I apologize for how late I am getting this information posted here… we’ve been away at the beach!

New classes start next week, and we still have openings in the following classes:
• Dogmanship 1, Mondays at 6:00pm
• Play as the Way 1, Mondays at 7:30pm
• Dogmanship 2, Tuesdays at 4:30pm
• STAR Puppy, Tuesdays at 7:30pm (new clas added after our first puppy class filled!)
• Intro to Nosework, Thursdays at 4:30pm

And a number of drop-in training options for socialization and competition obedience!

‘Owens’ Imprints’ is a screen printing, embroidery, and promo shop that has been in business for 6 years (since Carter was 13!) with Pekin related apparel/accessories offered as well.

Carter says “We are eager to be planted in historic downtown and build a whole new community.”
