🚨 HELP! WE’RE IN A BIT OF A DIRTY SITUATION! 🫧🐾

Our dishwasher at Happy Life Animal Rescue has officially called it quits! 😭

Between all the food bowls, water bowls, and everything else that needs washing, our dishwasher gets quite the workout. And with a rescue full of hungry pups and kitties, the dishes aren’t going to stop piling up anytime soon!

We’re hoping someone in our amazing community might have a dishwasher they no longer need and would be willing to donate! ❤️

If you have a working dishwasher looking for a new home, we’d LOVE to give it a second life helping animals!

📍 Happy Life Animal Rescue — Pawling, NY

Please send us a message if you can help, and even if you can’t, sharing this post would mean the world to us!

Apparently, the dogs are great at licking bowls clean, but the health department has some objections to that method. 😂🐶

🎉🎂 TWO YEARS OLD AND ONE BIG BIRTHDAY WISH! 🐾❤️

Everybody wish Rocket a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! 🥳

Our handsome Lab/Husky mix is officially 2 years old, and he’s ready to make this his BEST year yet!

Rocket is the ultimate adventure buddy! 🐕 He loves swimming, playing, exploring, and pretty much anything that involves having FUN! He’s got energy to spare, loves people, and gets along with most dogs.

But there’s one thing missing from Rocket’s life… a family to share all those adventures with. ❤️

🎁 This year, we’re asking for something bigger than birthday wishes. We’re asking you to COME MEET ROCKET!

Stop by Happy Life Animal Rescue in Pawling, NY, spend some time with our birthday boy, and see if you’re the adventure buddy he’s been waiting for!

Because Rocket doesn’t need another birthday toy. He needs someone to love him forever. 🥹❤️

📺 And now, a return to your regularly scheduled cute dog photos. 🐶❤️

We interrupt whatever chaos is happening on your feed today to bring you something we can ALL agree on…

Biscuits is absolutely adorable. 🥹

This 9-month-old Shepherd/Terrier mix is serving up some much-needed cuteness, and unlike most things on the internet today, she’s not here to start an argument. 😂

She’s a sweet girl who can be a little shy at first, but give her a chance to warm up, and you’ll see just how lovable she really is! ❤️

And the best part? Biscuits is looking for a forever home!

So take a break from the scrolling, enjoy some puppy pictures, and maybe even make room on your couch for a little Biscuits. 🐾

📍 Happy Life Animal Rescue | Pawling, NY

❤️ Come meet Biscuits and see if she’s the missing piece of your happy life!

🚨 We interrupt your regularly scheduled Election Day drama for a VERY important question.

🐶 TEAM DOG or 🐱 TEAM CAT?

Some questions divide families. Some end friendships. And this one might just be the most controversial of them all. 😂

Here at Happy Life Animal Rescue, we officially love both equally. ❤️

Unofficially? Well… Roy has some opinions. 🐶

🗳️ CAST YOUR VOTE IN THE COMMENTS!

And no matter which side you’re on, we’ve got some adorable candidates for your heart waiting to meet you!

76 ADOPTIONS. 31 DAYS. COUNTLESS LIVES CHANGED. 🐾❤️

October was one incredible month at Happy Life Animal Rescue! 76 dogs and cats found their forever homes! 🏡🎉

But here’s the thing… we couldn’t have done ANY of it without YOU.

To everyone who adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated, shared a post, or simply helped spread the word: YOU made these 76 happy endings possible.

And we’re not slowing down! 💪

There are still so many animals waiting for their chance at a happy life, and we need our community now more than ever.

❤️ Adopt.
🐾 Foster.
🙌 Volunteer.
🎁 Donate.
📲 Share our posts.

You don’t have to adopt an animal to help save a life. Sometimes, something as simple as sharing a post can connect an animal with the family they’ve been waiting for.

76 happy endings in October. How many can we create together in November?

🍁❤️ LET’S KICK OFF THE SEASON OF THANKS AND GIVING! 🐾

November is here, and what better way to start the season than by thanking the people who give so much to Happy Life Animal Rescue?

OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS! ❤️

The early mornings, late nights, endless laundry, puppy messes, adoption events, dog walks, kitten cuddles, and everything in between.

You give your time, energy, and hearts to animals who can’t say thank you, but certainly show it with wagging tails, sloppy kisses, and lots of love.

We couldn’t do this without you!

And one of the greatest things about our volunteer family? There’s always room for more love, more helping hands, and more people who want to make a difference! ❤️

Maybe this November is your chance to become part of something special! 🐾

Whether it’s helping at our adoption center, joining us at adoption events, caring for our animals, or lending a hand behind the scenes, there’s a place for everyone!

You don’t need to be an animal expert. Just bring a little time, a big heart, and a willingness to help!

❤️ This November, consider giving something that costs nothing but means everything: your time.

Even a few hours can make a world of difference to an animal waiting for their happy life.

📧 Interested in joining our volunteer family? Reach out to [email protected] or visit our website to get started!

And to the volunteers who make this mission possible every single day, THANK YOU! We hope you’ll help us welcome the next generation of Happy Life helpers! ❤️

🎃👻 HAPPY HOWL-O-WEEN FROM HAPPY LIFE ANIMAL RESCUE! 🐾🧡

The ghosts are spooky, the pumpkins are glowing, and our pups are looking absolutely BOO-tiful! 🐶🐈‍⬛

Before you head out for some tricks and treats, here are a few tips to keep your furry friends safe this Halloween!

🍫 Keep the candy for the humans! Chocolate, xylitol (found in some sugar-free treats), and other Halloween goodies can be dangerous for pets.

🚪 Watch those doors! With trick-or-treaters coming and going, make sure your pets are safely secured so nobody goes on an unexpected Halloween adventure!

👻 Costumes should be comfy! If your pet isn’t feeling the Halloween fashion show, skip the costume. They’re adorable enough already!

🎃 Keep the spooky stuff out of reach! Decorations, glow sticks, and electrical cords can be tempting to curious paws.

⏰ AND DON’T FORGET! Tonight we roll the clocks BACK one hour! That’s right, an extra hour of sleep!

But don’t get TOO comfortable! 😴

Because tomorrow, Sunday, November 1st, we’re OPEN from 11 AM–2 PM for adoptions at Happy Life Animal Rescue!

Loki and all his adorable friends are waiting to meet you! 🐾❤️ And trust us, Loki doesn’t care what time the clock says. He’s ready to play!

So enjoy your extra hour of sleep, grab some coffee, and come meet your new best friend!

Happy Halloween, stay safe, and we’ll see you tomorrow! 🧡🐾

All dressed up with one place to go… YOUR HOUSE. 👻🐾

Skip the haunted house. Come fall in love with someone who barks at it instead. 🧡

SHARK ATTACK! 🦈 We’re gonna need a bigger treat bag.

Come in costume, play with pups in costumes, enjoy some refreshments, make some crafts, and have a little Halloween fun!

No pressure to adopt. Seriously. Just come hang out, give some belly rubs, and tell a dog how excellent their costume is. They’ve been waiting for that review. 🧡
