We are officially entering Bingo Mode.

Pocketbook Bingo is happening THIS Sunday, 11/9 at the Pawling Rec Center!
Doors open at 11AM | Bingo hits the board at 12PM.

And YES — we’re bringing adoptable animals with us.
Come play for designer bags, laugh with friends, snack like it’s a sport, and possibly meet your new furry bestie.
This is what we call Sunday done right.

So the itinerary is basically:
Bingo ➜ Snacks ➜ Designer Bags ➜ Cuddles ➜ Happy Hearts ➜ Happy Tails

Alright listen up, folks.
Our cats have some things to say.

Like:
“Why are you still scrolling when your soulmate is… literally right here?”
—Every cat in our care, probably

We’ve got kittens who chase their own tails, kittens who chase your tail (you’ll grow one, don’t worry), chill lap cats who are ready for Netflix marathons, and one or two drama queens who definitely believe they are the main character. Which… honestly… they are.

Whether you’re a “snuggles and purrs” type or a “chaotic zoomies at 3AM is my love language” type — we’ve got a furry BFF for you.

Come meet them, fall in love, and adopt your newest household supervisor.

Because love has four paws and a mysterious talent for knocking things off your shelves.
And honestly? Life’s better that way.

This 4-month-old Catahoula mix might crumble a bit when you first meet her — she’s a little shy at first bite — but give her a few minutes and she’ll melt your heart faster than chocolate chips in the sun. ☀️

Once she warms up, Cookie’s all sweetness and snuggles — no crumbs left behind! She’s got that perfect blend of soft and chewy: a playful side ready for adventure, and a loving side that’ll curl up with you after. ❤️

Ready to add a little sugar, spice, and everything nice to your life? Come meet Cookie — she’s fresh out of the rescue oven and ready for her forever home!

How to Donate:
Drop items in our donation bin at 550 Route 22, Pawling, NY 12564. No need to call ahead. If your item is too large for the bin (e.g., a crate), please place it neatly beside the bin.

What We Accept

Pet food & treats: dry, wet, pouches, kitten/puppy formula.

Supplies: litter, p*e pads, bowls, slow feeders, brushes, shampoo, nail trimmers, waste bags.

Gear: crates (wire/plastic, with all parts), carriers, beds/blankets, leashes, collars, harnesses, toys.

Cleaning items: paper towels, trash bags, unscented wipes, fragrance-free detergent, bleach/disinfectants.

Monetary support: cash or checks (payable to Happy Life Animal Rescue)—place through the office mail slot or donate securely at happylifeanimalrescue.org.

Gift cards: Petco, PetSmart, Chewy, Amazon, local pet stores.

Condition Standards

Unopened, sealed, and unexpired food/treats in original packaging.

Gear and textiles should be clean, odor-free, and in good working order (no rips, rust, or missing parts).

Please tape any small tears on large food bags before drop-off.

We Cannot Accept

Opened or expired food/treats, homemade foods.

Medications/prescription diets, used litter or heavily worn/safety-compromised items, recalled/damaged products.

✨ Meet Tinker Toy & Twinkle ✨
These two tiny sisters have already been through more than most dogs ever should. 💔 Born in Louisiana, they were rescued from a drug den — scared, hungry, and clinging to each other for comfort. When the world felt dark, they only had one another… and now, they’ve finally made it to New York for a new beginning. A Happy Life. 🌈

Tinker Toy and Twinkle are just 4 months old — little Chi mixes with big hearts. They’re still learning to trust, but when they’re together, you can see their sparkle return. 💕

We’d love for them to find a home where they can keep shining side by side. They don’t need to be adopted together, but if ever there were a pair that deserved to stay sisters forever… it’s these two. 🐾

Let’s rewrite their story with love, patience, and a cozy couch to share.

🍗 Butterball is a 7-month-old orange tabby weighing in at a solid 10 pounds of pure cozy comfort. This handsome hunk is all about snuggles, snacks, and soaking up attention like gravy on mashed potatoes.

🌽 Maise, his calico sister, is sweet, gentle, and oh-so-pretty. She’s the calm to Butterball’s big personality — always watching the world with those wise, loving eyes.

They may be siblings, but they’re perfectly fine being adopted together or separately — just as long as there’s love (and maybe some turkey treats) waiting for them! 🧡
