This little lovebug is settling in so well! 🐾 Lorn has been a total rockstar in his foster home—friendly with all the pups and giving a warm welcome to every human he meets. 💛

He’s also having a bit of an identity crisis… not sure if his name is Lorn or Good Boy because, well, he hears that one a lot. 😂

💚 Be a ZuccHERO 💚

Turning heartbreak into hope — that’s what this beautiful campaign is all about. After the devastating loss of his beloved “Handsome Man,” our friend The Imperial Castle Toy Shop is honoring that unbreakable bond by paying it forward to help animals still waiting for their shot at love.

We’re beyond honored to be chosen as the first rescue supported by this mission. Every donation, every blanket dropped off, every Star Wars figure given — it all helps us save more lives.

We can’t wait for the adoption event happening right at the shop this August! It’s going to be a day full of wagging tails, happy hearts, and maybe even a Jedi pup or two. 🐶✨

The last month has really been a tough one for us all with the loss of our "Handsome Man". For me personally, I'm not embarrassed to say it's been a struggle for me. My wife called him my soulmate, and he and I had a bond I'm just grateful to have shared with him. People who know me well know that my usual move is to wall off the world and isolate myself while I grieve in private. Instead, I'm going to turn my grief into a positive and use it to help others get that chance to be loved unconditionally.

We will be starting our "Be a ZuccHERO" campaign and offering donation matching, events, and special sales which will 100% be used to help shelters and other four legged friend based organizations. Our first partner will be Happy life animal rescue right here in Dutchess County. I'll be going live soon with the details.

In the meantime, we have a donation box coming to the shop tomorrow and if you'd like to donate online please send donations directly to them, link is below. Just say "I'm a Zucc-HERO"

This 8-month-old terrier mix has been chillin’ in our care since December—yep, he’s been bringing the cool vibes for over half a year now. He’s great with kids, loves other dogs, and is currently in a loving foster home… but it’s time he found his forever fam!

Meet Lucy, our 2-year-old Lab mix and proud mama of the Bird Litter—who have all officially flown the coop! 🐣✈️

Now that her little ones have spread their wings and found their forever homes, it’s Lucy’s turn to shine. This sweet, loving mama has done an amazing job raising her pups, and now she’s ready to be somebody’s baby for a change.

She’s gentle, affectionate, and has that classic Lab heart of gold. 💛 Whether it’s lounging by your side or joining you for some backyard adventures, Lucy is all about the simple joys of life—and some well-earned TLC.

This 5-month-old Mini Pin mix was rescued from Texas and has been stealing hearts ever since. Gru is the perfect combo of sweet, playful, and major cuddle monster. He loves romping around in the yard, then curling up for some serious snuggle time.

He may not have an army of Minions (yet), but he is on a mission… to find his forever family! 💕
