Jelly Bean is all sugar and no calories😁 She is around 12/13 years old. A snuggler who is good with other dogs and enjoys hanging out in the yard when the weather isn’t 150 degrees. She can have an accident in the house occasionally so a diaper would be an option indoors. We have covered medical and upcoming dental today. Our little Frenchie buddy is not a senior but like our salties he has a little more baggage than other dogs. Buddy is 2 yrs young suffering from IVDD. This is a degenerative condition sometimes developing in this breed causing lameness in his rear legs. Buddy has gone thru therapy and now proudly uses his wheels to help him get around. Sweet Clementine came into Williamsburg Animal Control with a happy gait and a big grin. 24 hours later same dog, depressed and shut down. We are asking you to share our 62 lb, 10 yr old senior friend in hopes to break her out so her personality shines again! Clementine is HW+ and unaltered but we will cover costs to get her up to par! Rescue pups tell a story by the condition they come in, physically and emotionally. Being able to see past their initial appearance as to what they can become with time, patience and TLC is SO rewarding! Hershey is an example of this. His beautiful coat and sweet personality are only seen now because people in animal welfare gave him a chance. Hershey now lives with a dad who adores him! Please continue to support local animal shelters and rescues through donations, volunteering, fostering adopting. Thank you to all who give so much ❤️to the effort.

Foster needed. Chill buddy who needs rest and TLC while vet care for fatigue and hind area weakness being evaluated. A 3 yr old who hopefully can get proper diagnosis and treatment.

FOSTER TAKEOVER URGENTLY NEEDED 🚨
Either a week starting TODAY or foster takeover in general.

Briar is a 100lb lab / pyrenees mix. He was discarded to a kill shelter due to not getting along with his sibling. He was scheduled for euthanasia. Turns out, Briar was in pain.

Briar arrived as a 3 year old, but acts like an old man. Our vet said this was the saddest case he has seen in awhile.

We need a home he can rest in while we get him more medical treatment and diagnostic.

Ideal home:
- Less stairs
- A home that lets him be himself and go at his pace.
- Lower speed home

Briar is fully vetted. He presented with significant hind limb weakness, muscle atrophy, a painful and slow gait, and decreased appetite. Radiographs were performed and reviewed by a board-certified radiologist, and while his joints are intact, it is clear that Briar has been in pain for some time. He is currently resting and recovering while we work to get him the answers and care he deserves.

He’s crate trained. He just sleeps and lays. 😫

He is dog friendly but right now doesn’t need a lot of commotion.
