Northeast Ohio SPCA No-Kill Pet Shelter

Northeast Ohio SPCA No-Kill Pet Shelter Through adoption, spay and neuter, and education, we save lives to make euthanasia of healthy animals unnecessary.

The purpose of the Northeast Ohio SPCA no-kill Pet Shelter is to provide a safe haven for abandoned, healthy homeless, and adoptable loving pets until they can find a home. The shelter opened in April of 2004 and has since adopted out 43,000 pets in the community as of 2023. The Northeast Ohio SPCA is a non-profit, private agency and receives no government funding. The shelter relies on donations and support from members in the community.

💛 90 lbs of love. 4 years of loyalty. A lifetime of cuddles waiting just for you.

Max is a handsome Boxer mix who’s been through more than most. After losing his home in a fire, Max came to us along with some of his furry siblings who have all since been adopted!

✨ What makes Max amazing?
🐶 Dog-friendly & cat-approved
👶 Great with kids, he’s got a heart as big as his paws
💤 Super chill, expert level snuggler
🐾 Neutered, about 4 years old, and ready to love you forever
💖 Loves belly rubs, cuddles, and of course... treats!
😬 Sensitive soul: loud sprays (like hot spot spray) scare him a bit. He just needs a little gentleness and a lot of love.

Max may be a big guy, but he’s got the softest heart. He greets everyone with a slow tail wag and those soulful eyes.

🏡 Max would thrive in a calm, loving home, maybe with another friendly pet or two, and definitely with someone who doesn’t mind a cuddle buddy who thinks he’s lap-sized.
