Fellow cow friends, what’s this behavior from a young bull and 4 year old cow?! Rosie is hopefully due to calf soon and is very protective of her niece Truly. I refuse to go into the first pen now and Jaegers butcher date need to be moved up from sooner to later!

Truly our newest highland heifer is just the cutest 🥰 I got to hold her and brush her today. Glad her mama Dahlia has been in a good mood with us handling her and getting her up to eat ❤️

We finally evaluated and castrated the 5 litters of Idaho Pasture pigs. We have a couple gilts and boars that are breed quality. Please let us know asap if interested.

Wendell I1012 x Jingle I0921 # 858 or 859 gilts # 864 boar but we may keep him back 2/18/26
Snickers K5020 x Fate I0930 2/28/26 #869 boar and 867 gilt
George I1270 x Pepper H1367 #872 boar
Oreo J0506 x Grace I3706 # 881 boar- there are some nice looking gilts but have uneven teat count but if not a buyers issue they can go as a breeder. #876 and 875 gilts both 13 teats

We just got back from the dells and found a beautiful new highland calf just born!! Placenta and all. So thankful for new life on the farm. Great job big mama black Dahlia
Edit: it’s a girl! She shall now be known as Truly, daughter of Jaeger. I’m loving the bible lately and God is so great!

We have a runty gilt in the new pepper x George litter as well as one with a deformed ear. Not sure if we will not be breeding this pair again because there’s a couple others that look amazing so far.
