The Nursery and Iris Gardens are both open daily from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon, contact us if you need to visit later in the day. Short hours are due to ongoing construction and finish work during the early part of our season. We will extend hours as appropriate.

There is a beautiful new very dark iris blooming this morning. It is unusual and gorgeous.

Nursery plants were happy to weather our rain in the past few days and are looking great. Beautiful red Pineapple Sages, butterfly bushes, Penstemon in several colors lots of succulents and so much more.

Plan to pick up some ground covering plants. They will make a significant difference this summer holding moisture in the soil while keeping the ground cooler. And they are pretty!!!!

Closed today since it's finally a rainy day! Time to catch up! If tomorrow is dry the nursery and our Iris Garden will be open.

The Buckeye Storm, in May, as the cowboys used to refer to late storms.

THE PLANT SALE continues at Noble Orchards Nursery this Saturday and Sunday. Monday Memorial Day we will be closed.

NURSERY SALE starts today (Thursday) thru Sunday 8:00 am -12:00 noon at our nursery, located just inside our stone wall on the right.

Most plants are 25% off to 50% off. Sales have been EXCEEDINGLY SLOW this spring attributed to road closures for undergrounding utilities.

Beautiful plants are available. Blooming hydrangeas, pineapple sage with gorgeous red blooms, Buddleias both large and smaller plants, dark purples, blues and whites. Geraniums in many colors and lots of companion plants that help keep your plants and soil damp and cooler. Succulents, trees and shrubs too.

Our iris garden will be the focus next week for discounts. We will announce dates soon. Construction activities continue and we must operate around the limitations as a result.

There are plants that are not available yet as they are too immature but have to be in shaded areas, it is too hot in our hoop house to remain there.

We will be closed Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.

IMPACT SALE at Noble Orchards Nursery

We propagate and grow all plants here on the farm. We can grow them here and you know they will flourish at your location. Truck loads do not arrive here to see if they will survive. Most of us know that the weather has changed and that the new shadeless areas we all seem to have must be considered in the selection process. We also have many shade lovers.

PG&E closed Pentz Road after 7 pm yesterday and are working at night so access to our farm should be available from both the north and south on Pentz Road, apparently until schools near Wagstaff are done for this school year.

WE CLOSED TODAY ABOUT 12:15 PM AS A BURST OF EXTREMLY STRONG NORTH WIND RIPPED TENTS APART THAT WERE SHADING OUR WORK AREA IN THE IRIS GARDEN. THE TENTS HAD BEEN SECURED BY STEEL POSTS ON ALL LEGS YET STILL FLEW. NO ONE WAS INJURED BY THE INCIDENT.

TO THE CUSTOMERS WHO DROVE TO THE IRIS GARDEN AS WE WERE ATTEMPING TO CONTROL THE SITUTATION, IT WAS NOT OUT OF RUDNESS. TO TELL YOU TO GO HOME, BUT FOR YOUR SAFETY AND OURS.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL!!!

Visit our Iris Garden today to select Moms favorite color of iris.
Open from 10am until 5pm Sunday thru Thursday at our farm located at 7050 Pentz Road accessible from both the north and south today.

Free while they last a grape scented iris with your $25.00 purchase of iris.

Come up to view the progress of construction of our new cold storage and packing facility, from a distance. As it is completed, we will let you know. It will be time of a celebration.

Our IRIS GARDEN is open today and tomorrow from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm and each week Sunday thru Thursday as construction continues.

ACCESS: Travel up Skyway to Pentz Road turn to the right and proceed to Noble Orchard Company. Please use our 2nd driveway making a left turn (to the east) onto our location. Parking will be limited as concrete trucks will be coming today.

We have over 150 different irises to choose from. Bring your cell phone and you can look up the blossom of each variety. Irises start at $5.00 for a gallon and up.

Our plant Nursery is also open now and full of gorgeous plants, all propagated here at the farm. Plant and add water they will grow well in our new climate conditions.

Come for a visit today while the weather is cool. It is slated to change very soon.

IRIS GARDEN SPECIAL HOURS TODAY ONLY

Our blooming IRIS GARDEN will be open today from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. Come by after you visit all the Gold Nugget Days events and select the perfect irises for your garden.

We have over 150 varieties of iris to choose from with at least 35 blooming now and many more to open in the next few weeks. Due to the weather this spring our iris are blooming much later to than those from lower elevation gardens.

Prices for iris start at $5.00 for gallon pots. It's free to come by and look at all the irises. For pictures of iris check our second post this morning (my phone has to charge). Please look for "Laurie Noble" on Facebook.

Pouring rain here projected all day Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Please call if you must come by today, otherwise we are closed.

Open this coming Sunday thru Tuesday, 4/26 thru 4/28 10:00am until 5:00pm. We will have lots of new blooming iris by then and weather hopefully will be much nicer.
