NEWS FLASH: PARADISE GROWN FRUIT
IS RIPE!!!!

Honey Kist Nectarines, as sweet as candy, are available now from your local fruit grower.

Stop by for a taste of really tree ripened fruit, immediately chilled and packed, ready for your family and friends to enjoy. Nectarines are great for fresh eating, making salsa, serving with ice cream, or freezing for future icy smoothies......as in later in this afternoon!!!

PG&E has further work to do to connect our new cold storage and packing facility to power, hopefully in a very quick hurry. The mess created last week with undergrounding up our driveway is the goal this week and then paving of the driveway needs to be done.

We are open daily from 8:00 am until 12:00 for the next few weeks. Sales in front of the nursery at this time. By the pound or in packed tray packs.

If you come by later in the day, come up the north driveway and we can grab a box of packed nectarines for you.

CLOSED TODAY: PG&E IS CONNECTING OUR FARM TO ELECTRICITY!!!!!

They are undergrounding service up our driveway to complete the connection for our new building.

CLOSED TODAY TO THE PUBLIC. There are pieces of equipment and supplies all over our access areas, so we will see your tomorrow to visit the nursery and Iris Garden. We have 7 iris varieties that will open in the next couple of days and will not last too long due to the hot days coming later this week.

The Nursery and Iris Gardens are both open daily from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon, contact us if you need to visit later in the day. Short hours are due to ongoing construction and finish work during the early part of our season. We will extend hours as appropriate.

There is a beautiful new very dark iris blooming this morning. It is unusual and gorgeous.

Nursery plants were happy to weather our rain in the past few days and are looking great. Beautiful red Pineapple Sages, butterfly bushes, Penstemon in several colors lots of succulents and so much more.

Plan to pick up some ground covering plants. They will make a significant difference this summer holding moisture in the soil while keeping the ground cooler. And they are pretty!!!!

Closed today since it's finally a rainy day! Time to catch up! If tomorrow is dry the nursery and our Iris Garden will be open.

The Buckeye Storm, in May, as the cowboys used to refer to late storms.

Thank you to all who visited during our nursery sale the past 4 days! Iris will be on sale beginning Thursday May 28.

THE PLANT SALE continues at Noble Orchards Nursery this Saturday and Sunday. Monday Memorial Day we will be closed.

We propagate plants that will grow well in the climate, temperature, and varying shade limitations some of us have at our home locations

NURSERY SALE starts today (Thursday) thru Sunday 8:00 am -12:00 noon at our nursery, located just inside our stone wall on the right.

Most plants are 25% off to 50% off. Sales have been EXCEEDINGLY SLOW this spring attributed to road closures for undergrounding utilities.

Beautiful plants are available. Blooming hydrangeas, pineapple sage with gorgeous red blooms, Buddleias both large and smaller plants, dark purples, blues and whites. Geraniums in many colors and lots of companion plants that help keep your plants and soil damp and cooler. Succulents, trees and shrubs too.

Our iris garden will be the focus next week for discounts. We will announce dates soon. Construction activities continue and we must operate around the limitations as a result.

There are plants that are not available yet as they are too immature but have to be in shaded areas, it is too hot in our hoop house to remain there.

We will be closed Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day.

IMPACT SALE at Noble Orchards Nursery

We propagate and grow all plants here on the farm. We can grow them here and you know they will flourish at your location. Truck loads do not arrive here to see if they will survive. Most of us know that the weather has changed and that the new shadeless areas we all seem to have must be considered in the selection process. We also have many shade lovers.

PG&E closed Pentz Road after 7 pm yesterday and are working at night so access to our farm should be available from both the north and south on Pentz Road, apparently until schools near Wagstaff are done for this school year.
