As most of you know, I closed the LLC at the end of last year. I've settled into life on my organic farm, just a block away from the shop.
As the farm is state-registered Organic and was a cottage food farm, if I renew, I’ll be offering herbs, teas, fruits, and veggies, and possibly plants if I decide to renew my nursery license. Since they doubled the nursery license cost this year, it's hard on a small farm like mine. But that’s California – shutting down the little guy so big corporations can take over. I had hoped we would be on a road to a better California by now, but it looks like there's a lot of corruption to remove first.
I'm on a journey to heal, having recently learned about a Hemochromatosis diagnosis and its effects on my body. Iron deposits caused severe arthritis and organ damage. It didn’t help that it took 15 years to figure it out. The damage cannot be reversed, but at least now I know what I’m dealing with.
Despite challenges like bone-on-bone knees and a fractured back, I'm taking it one day at a time, focusing on recovery and getting my farm in order. It’s time for me to prioritize my land and my well-being. It’s been a long, hard road rebuilding since the fire.😢
I still have some of my shop's inventory, including patio ponds, water falls, fairy decorations, plant pots, flags, flag poles, pole mounts, garden knick-knacks, diatomaceous earth, and my custom embroidery machine to make custom items. I did a lot of pet blankets and welcome baby blankets after the fire. If you're interested in any of these items, feel free to message me. I’ll try to do a yard sale at the farm sometime soon, but I’ll need help as I'm taking things slow. I'm grateful for the support. ❤️ Any questions, message me here or leave a message on the business phone; it's still available. ❤️🌅🌱🌷🍀
