Sailor had a big ride out to check cows this morning! He did great and got a lot of trotting in.

Viento got the gate, rode through a muddy water filled ditch, rode out into the river twice, jumped logs, crossed a metal culvert, and checked the cows. All at around 30 days out of holding!! Oh and a deer jumped out of the brush and into a pond right next to him and he didn't flinch!! He's a fast walker too. Not lazy but not spooky!! A great combination! Shane had to bring him back to the gate to close it but yesterday was his first try at getting gates. Shane is going to put a set of shoes on him next week and he's going to ride him all over looking at cows.

Shane had some fun with Viento today at the river pasture. Jumping logs! Gotta have fun when you can!! 😆 Such a good horse for just 30 days out of holding!!

We took Feather and Viento to the river pasture to check cows. He's doing amazing for 30 days out of holding.

I think this horse is so smart!! Cash got saddled for the first time and is giving to the pressure of the lead rope so easily!!

I put a saddle on Cash today and he didn't care at all! He's such a cool horse!! 🤩🐴

Viento tracked cattle today too. That's the nice thing about having our own cattle we can play with them with all our horses if we want. They are great for teaching horses on.
