All horses should be able to stand tied calmly. Sometimes we need them to do that and not cause trouble. The more practice they get the better they handle it. They should stand as long as we need. Our horses have lots of practice with standing tied. You can send how calm they all are.

The High Country Ranch Roping is approaching quickly. If you wish to enter be sure to get with Scott Jones. His contact information is on the bottom of this flyer.

The Novice division will be run first Saturday morning. The Youth division will be held Sunday morning. There will be a dummy roping for those aspiring ranch ropers age 10 and under. The timing for this event will be determined at a later time.

There are some camp spots at the fairgrounds. For more information on the camp spots contact Scott Jones at the number on the flyer.

This is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the RMRRSHA event calendar

We are having another lesson day next Tuesday September 8th if you are interested send me a message to get on the schedule. We are located in Parachute Colorado. We have a couple spots available.. we can work on cattle work, horsemanship, roping, or problem solving. whatever you need help with or want to work on.

Shane gets to ride in some cool places. Sometimes we take our life for granted but we are lucky in so many ways! ❤️

No elk in the high country, they are in an over grazed horse pasture hiding! 😆
On a different note, I didn't think horses could over graze a pasture. 😂
