As many know the City of Paola had issues yesterday with multiple water line breaks throughout town. I had a line break right next to my building yesterday which caused the water to be turned off (muddy water was flooding all of the back of the units at my building ) to be repaired . After the repair was made sometime overnight they turned our water back on. When they did this the pressure cause my buildings water back-flow / regulator (which is in my unit) to fail sometime overnight and water came exploding out which has caused 90% of my salon to flood. I have a water damage restoration cleaning crew that has been here all day and they are working on the long process of cleaning and fixing the water damage. As of right now the salon will be CLOSED until at least Tuesday. I will know Monday when they do their moisture check in my walls which are torn apart right now to dry if they are able to turn off their dryers / dehumidifiers. I will be messaging everyone who is / was on my schedule for today, tomorrow and Monday later this evening to start rescheduling. This is going to be a process with the restoration process at the salon so please bear with me as this was completely out of my control of happening. Trust me when I say I was shocked this morning when I walked into the salon and saw inches of water in every room with water still full blast flowing in!
