In observance of Memorial Day, Palmetto Animal Clinic is excited to announce our first Community Outreach Day. If you or someone you know is a retired or active-duty military member with a pet and financial need we will be hosting a Low-Cost Services day on Tuesday, May 26th. Our goal is to provide preventive care services to pets of military members who might not be able to afford them otherwise. Unfortunately, space is limited, but we hope to hold additional events in the future.

What the appointment includes:
• A full examination with one of our veterinarians and physical exam report
• Heartworm test (dogs only)
• Intestinal parasite test: F***l sample must be brought by owner
• Annual Vaccinations (Dog: Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP. Cat: Rabies, FVRCP)
• Monthly Heartworm and Flea prevention to go home.

Cost: A $45 fee will be collected at the time of the appointment and will cover all items listed above. Additional medications, services, or follow appointments may incur additional fees.

Who is eligible:
Any active or retired military personnel (including spouses). A valid U.S. Military I.D. card will be required at the appointment for verification. Limit of one pet per client and event will be by appointment only. Pet must be healthy enough to receive vaccinations. Treatment for other illness is not guaranteed or may incur additional fees, which will be discussed at time of appointment. Dogs and cats only. Pet must be tolerant for services and feral cats will not be accepted.

This event was made possible thanks to very kind and generous donors who have contributed to our “Angel Fund”, powered by the Veterinary Care Found, a 501 3c non-profit organization. Our primary donor has elected to remain anonymous, but we are extremely grateful and hope to put your gift to good use!
If you would like to help us make more events like this possible in the future, you can donate to our Angel Fund by following the link on our home page.
