The time has come for us to spill the beans....🐾

We are thrilled to share that Dr. Courtney Acevedo, Dr. Kyndall Goodwin and Dr. Clare Zandy will become part of our team as full-time associate veterinarians. They are set to begin their journey with us in mid-June 2026. During their first two weeks, they will be shadowing our existing doctors before they start seeing patients in scheduled appointment slots.

Dr. Acevedo earned her degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Goodwin graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources program, while Dr. Zandy is a proud graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. We take great pride in their academic accomplishments and are eager for them to join our practice. We are confident that these three doctors will be a wonderful addition for our clients and patients.

Reminders:

We will be open until noon on 12/31/25 and will be closed all day on 01/01/26. Bradenton Veterinary Emergency is available to assist your pets in need; their direct phone number is 941-748-0202.

Fireworks can be frightening for pets, so please take your dogs for a walk before the fireworks start. Afterward, create a comfortable and safe space for them to relax in, away from exterior doors. Animals often dart out when startled by loud noises, which can lead them into the path of moving vehicles. Additionally, ensure that your pets' microchip information is current, as this is a quick and effective way to reunite with them if they escape.

Please remember to pre-order your pets' medications and/or food. While DeSoto Animal Clinic is closed Bradenton Veterinary Emergency cannot provide these supplies to you unless they have been prepaid and arranged in advance.
