Thanks to your support, we were able to install an A/C unit in the main kennel wing, and we know the dogs are feeling the difference. ❤️

Unfortunately, our central A/C system, which cools the feeding area, grooming room, three kennels, lobby, playroom, and bathroom, has stopped working.🥵

We’re hoping someone in our community can help. Are there any HVAC professionals willing to donate their time to diagnose and repair the unit?

We’re in the middle of our kennel reset, and without air conditioning in that section of the building, we can’t safely have volunteers come paint and work in the area.

Yesterday, we said goodbye to our Jasper… and our hearts are hurting. 💔🌈🐾

When Jasper came to us back in November, he was skin and bones, covered in fleas, starving, exhausted, and simply trying to survive. After scanning his microchip, we realized this sweet old man was nearly 20 years old… and somehow had been forgotten.😢

Because of Jasper’s age, his special needs, and the simple fact that he had fully earned the right to live life on his own terms (including deciding litter boxes were absolutely not his thing 😅), I made the decision that Jasper wasn’t going anywhere.

His forever home was here, with us at Totally Fetch. 🫶🏼

And while we only had him for a short time, I’m grateful that his final chapter was spent knowing warmth, comfort, safety, and unconditional love. ❤️‍🩹

This is a side of rescue people don’t always see.

Sometimes rescue means finding the perfect adopter.

And sometimes rescue means becoming their forever home when the world has already given up on them.

Jasper deserved that.

In honor of Jasper, I’m asking for your help so we can continue saying yes to animals like him… the seniors, the forgotten, the abandoned, and the ones who need someone willing to step in when no one else will.

Today officially marks Day 1 of our kennel reset project, and while a few dogs have secured temporary placement, we still have a long way to go…

Our biggest needs right now are:

🏡 Temporary Foster Homes (Next 2 Weeks):
Every dog we can place in a temporary foster with Mable's Mission Rescue gives us more room to work and helps reduce stress on the dogs during renovations. Only 2 have been placed so far.

🎨 Floor Paint:
The kennel floors are one of our top priorities and we haven’t raised enough money to even get half of it painted. They need to be cleaned, repaired, and repainted to create a safer, more sanitary environment for the dogs in our care.

🐾✨ LOOK AT THAT SMILE ✨🐾

This is Jack. ❤️

And while Jack already spends his days participating in group socialization, playgroups, and enjoying time in our play yards with the other dogs… there is something incredibly special about one-on-one time.

The difference between these two photos says it all. 📸

One picture shows Jack waiting patiently… the other shows exactly what happens when he gets out for individual attention, a walk around the property, an adventure, or simply dedicated time with a human all to himself. Look at that smile. 😍🐕

At Totally Fetch Animal Rescue, enrichment is a huge priority for us. Our dogs play, socialize, and stay active every single day… but what truly helps build confidence, creates stronger human bonds, and helps dogs get adopted faster is those moments outside of the routine.

That is why we need YOU. 🙏🏼

🚨🐾 LAST CALL: WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN 🐾🚨

We’re just days away from kicking off our Kennel Reset Birthday Fundraiser Project… and the truth is, we are nowhere near where we need to be.

Right now, this project is at serious risk of not happening the way we planned and we cannot do this without YOU.

As many of you know, my birthday is June 30th, and instead of gifts this year, I asked for something bigger… a chance to give Totally Fetch Animal Rescue the facility refresh it desperately needs so we can continue caring for the dogs who depend on us every single day. ❤️🐶

🐾❓ The mystery kittens strike again… ❓🐾

Just two nights ago, we shared the story of a tiny kitten that showed up on our doorstep.

Well, last night, another one arrived. 🤦🏻‍♂️🐈‍⬛

So now we’re left wondering… where are these kittens coming from? 🤷🏻‍♂️

We’re actively looking for any owners and will continue trying to reunite them with their families if they belong to someone nearby. Reuniting lost pets with their owners is always our first goal. ❤️

What we do know is that we can’t leave them outside. Living in the woods means predators and wildlife are a very real danger, and we’ve even recently had something attacking our chickens. 😢

As many of you know, we closed intake weeks ago due to extremely low funding and the need to focus on the animals already in our care. Since then, two dogs have been abandoned in our care, and now two unexpected kittens have shown up needing help.

So now the vetting begins:

🥹 Just look at this little face…

A few hours ago, this tiny kitten showed up on our doorstep with nowhere else to go. Tonight she’s safe, warm, fed, and already making herself right at home. ❤️🐱

Moments like this are why rescue never really stops, even when we’re struggling and trying to limit intake.

💔🐾 We made the difficult decision to close intake a few weeks ago due to extremely low funding and a lack of donations. 😔 It wasn’t a decision we wanted to make, but we simply could not continue taking in more animals while struggling to provide for the ones already in our care. 🏡🐶🐱

Even after closing intake, the animals keep finding us. ❤️

Recently, two Pomskys 🐕🐕 that had been staying with us at a heavily discounted rate while their owner faced serious health challenges were ultimately abandoned. We exhausted every effort to contact family members and find another solution, but they are now our responsibility. 💔

Then tonight, a tiny kitten 🐱🥺 appeared on our doorstep.

For those who don’t know, we live on 5 acres 🌳🌿 surrounded by large properties and heavy wildlife. 🦝🦉🐍 There was simply no way we could leave this baby outside to fend for itself. So despite being closed to intake, we opened our hearts once again. ❤️🐾

This is the reality of rescue. The need doesn’t stop when funding runs out. 💔

Every day we continue caring for the dogs, cats, and other animals who depend on us for food 🍖, medical care 💉, shelter 🏠, and love ❤️. We are doing everything we can to keep going, but right now we truly need your help. 🙏

At just 3–4 years old, Bailey has spent nearly two years in rescue waiting for someone to choose her. We honestly can’t understand why. 💔

Bailey is the definition of a happy dog. She loves people, loves other dogs, and approaches life with an endless supply of joy and enthusiasm.
