🐾 LET’S REINTRODUCE CHAD! 🐾

It’s been WAY too long since we’ve given this incredible boy the spotlight he deserves. 💛

Meet Chad ✨ our now 1.5 year-old Belgian Malinois who has grown into one seriously impressive dog.

When we first pulled Chad from our friends at Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, he was an at-risk dog struggling with kennel stress and behavioral challenges. Once he had the opportunity to decompress, receive proper care, EXERCISE and experience structured playgroups, we started seeing the real Chad emerge. 🙏🏼💙

And WOW… what a dog he is. 🔥

Chad is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, housebroken, crate trained (Impact crate), incredibly food motivated, and incredibly intelligent.

But we want to be VERY honest about what Chad needs.

This boy is HIGH, HIGH, HIGH energy. He is driven, athletic, eager to learn, and has phenomenal potential, but he needs a person who understands working breeds and is willing to give him a job.

Chad isn’t looking for someone who simply wants a dog to hang out on the couch with.

He needs an experienced owner who is committed to working with him EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Training, structure, enrichment, exercise, mental stimulation! Chad needs it all. 🙌🏼🐾

And because he is so young and food motivated, he is an absolute DREAM to train for the right person. His intelligence and drive are exactly what make him such an incredible dog for someone who knows how to channel it.

We truly believe Chad could be an incredible working/sport/active companion for the right home. He has so much potential, and we want to find someone who sees that potential and is excited to help him reach it.

This isn’t about finding just anyone for Chad.

It’s about finding HIS person. ❤️

The person who looks at a dog like Chad and says, “I want to see what this dog can become.”

This is such an incredible reminder that supporting a rescue doesn’t always mean making a financial donation. Donating items you no longer need can make a HUGE difference! 🐾❤️

🐾❤️ What a great day at yesterday’s Fur Ever Friends Market - Back to School Bash event! ❤️🐾

We had such a wonderful time being part of this event and are so grateful to everyone who came together to make it happen!

We brought Grayson and Bailey along, and these two absolutely NAILED IT! We couldn’t be more proud of how phenomenal they were throughout the entire day. 🥰

And then… as if the day couldn’t get any more interesting, we had a very unexpected visitor… WOLFIE! 🥹🐾

Wolfie had just been adopted the day before, but unfortunately was returned after less than 24 hours. His adopters happened to bring him back to us while we were at the event, so suddenly we had Wolfie back with us!

Definitely not how we expected to see him again, but I have to admit… having all three of our boys there together was a pretty special moment. ❤️

Grayson, Bailey & Wolfie all represented Totally Fetch so well, and we couldn’t be any prouder of them.

A huge THANK YOU to Mel Rescues All Animals Corp who organized this entire event, all of the amazing vendors who came out, everyone who stopped by to meet our dogs, and everyone who continues to support rescue. 🙏🏼🐾

We’re so grateful to have been part of it! 🐶❤️

💔 Wolfie, our adorable 4 year old Pomsky is starting to wonder if he’s ever going to have a family of his own. 😭

And honestly… I can’t blame him.

For more than six months, this beautiful boy has been waiting.

Wolfie and his brother Mishka were abandoned in our care over six months ago after their owner became ill and needed round the clock care. The caregiver that was ultimately responsible for them initially stayed in contact and paid for their care, but one week… everything stopped. Calls, texts, emails, even attempts to locate the owner went unanswered. We involved animal control and law enforcement and exhausted every option trying to reunite these boys with their family.

Eventually, we had no choice but to move forward and find them new homes. 💔

And that’s where Wolfie’s story gets heartbreaking.

Three families. Three times. And Wolfie has done absolutely nothing wrong.

The first family made it through our adoption process and ultimately decided they weren’t ready to add another family member. We completely understood.

The second family was preparing for Wolfie’s arrival, sending pictures and getting everything ready for him… only to suddenly tell us “We aren’t getting him”. The next day, they got a puppy….

And yesterday, we thought Wolfie had finally found his forever home.

Less than 24 hours later, while we were at an adoption event today, his adopter showed up at our front gate wanting to return him.

No warning. No conversation. No opportunity for Wolfie to decompress.

The reason?

He had accidents in the house.

I want to say something important…. Not just for Wolfie, but for every rescue dog out there:

‼️ A dog does not walk into a new home knowing the rules.
‼️ A rescue dog may need time to decompress.
‼️ A new environment, new people, new smells and a completely different routine can be overwhelming.
‼️ Even a dog coming directly from another home can struggle when everything they know suddenly changes.

Wolfie has spent the last 7–8 months living in a kennel environment while we fought to figure out his situation. We don’t know exactly what his life looked like before that.

So yes… he may need patience. He may need reminders. He may have accidents while he learns.

But he deserves the chance to learn.

Dogs don’t speak English. They don’t understand our expectations the way we do.

They communicate differently.

And sometimes the only language they really understand is love, patience, consistency and time. ❤️

I am NOT going to let Wolfie fall through the cracks again.

So I’m calling all my local and surrounding-area dog lovers. 🐾

Who is willing to give this incredibly handsome boy what he has been missing?

🩵A real chance.

💙A soft place to land.

🩵A little patience.

💙A lot of love.

And most importantly… a commitment to him. ❤️

Wolfie deserves a family that understands that forever doesn’t mean until things get inconvenient.

It means forever.
