Our board and train program fast tracks the learning for your pup all training is presented as play time so they never lose interest. You and your pup will be the talk of your dog friends. It's true all dogs love to play so that's why training is presented as playtime. Make the learning fun so they learn quickly. Your dog will master:

During board and train your pup will go to school which includes running errands with us, visiting restaurants, socializing with other pups and then they return home. In our house we teach manners thru playful calm behavioral techniques that keep them entertained and focused on positive behaviors. The fun learning and varied exposure to environments will instill oodles of confidence in all situations. No more unruly or nervous dog. Confidence is key and we create it within the two weeks. Guaranteed for life. Unlimited learning and follow up lessons your family. caregivers and other pets in the household are included forever. We teach you why structure and supervision in the beginning is key to have the most well-mannered dog for life. Knowing how to communicate to your dog is essential and we’ll guide you how to appropriately teach them how to live calmly and harmoniously in our human world. All aspects of dog ownership are open for discussion each session is tailored to guide you based on your lifestyle and training goals. Finn did wonderful during his board & train visit. 💖🐶💖

We enjoyed shopping and dining out with him while teaching him to be calm and respectful in various public settings. This family already has plans bring him along on the plane next time they travel. What a lucky dog, living his best life!

- Teddy has found his forever home!Thanks to everyone's help in sharing his story. We appreciate all you do for the dogs Kelly 'Stifler' ❤️ 😊

I have an urgent rehoming request from a hospalized client for her mini schnauzer, Teddy.

Her and her family will be delivering to him to Furry Friends Dog Rescue in Jupiter by Wednesday.. due to unforseen health conditions of his owner.

Teddy is approximately 6 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, social with other animals & house trained.

Teddy has been in my possession for boarding services since 2/24 and has a sweet personality.

As dog trainers we are committed to helping Teddy transition to his new family at no monitary obligation. Please share to responsible canadidates? Thank you.

Look at this! Love this!

Happy to see Auggie and family out practicing his new found skills 👌 👏 😀 ❤️🐶

Auggie came to us with ZERO focus, completely anxious, barking excessively, herding family members, pulling on the leash, basically out of control and thinking he rules the house.

By teaching him a 12 word vocabulary, putting him on a schedule and instilling boundaries Auggie is much more manageable and relaxed.

His family basically has a new found Man's Best Friend and Auggie gets to explore and experience more all life has to offer.

Good job Auggie and Family 👏👏👏❤️🐶

Meet the Trainers

K9 Spa and Training Center is built on the foundation of love and respect of the dog.

Founder Michael along with his wife Pamela turned their passion for dogs into a devoted business where they could enhance lives of both owners and their pets through education and caretaking.

Michael's natural ability to speak and read dogs, started at a young age in New York. Pamela's love of all animals started in Fort Lauderdale. The two met in high school and have been sweethearts ever since.

After relocating to Palm Beach from Broward to build their home and start a life together they became involved in dog sports, dog rescue and fostering. All while teaching their beloved Rusty, a staffordshire bull terrier, protection work and certifying him as a therapy dog. When Rusty wasn't on the field practicing protection scenerios, he would frequent nursing homes and children's hospitals. This duel purpose pet gained the attention of Michael's peers and K9 Spa was born.

Michael's passion extended to various dog competitions on a national and international level through the years. He also enjoyed participating in private canine security details for some of the most prestigious residents of Palm Beach along with his various Belgium Malinois.

Since then his working dogs have retired or passed, but the passion lives on. Michael now enjoys sharing his dog training expertise on consultation basis via housecall dog training and board and train programs.

The board and train morphed into clients reaching out for boarding when traveling. It was natural to say yes and enjoy spending time with their 4 legged alumnus

Pamela retired from the corporate world of advertising to focus on hosting the dogs in their care. After all these dogs whom she helped raise and train became a part of their family and neither of them could justify employing anyone else to take on the large responsibility of the level of care they command.

Nearly 3 decades and thousands of dogs later, the mission and passion of K9 Spa is still the same. To save dogs from entering the foster system through dog training education.

Auggie learning to chill. 😎🆒️✌️☮️

We always practice stillness after a walk. Also known as the 'place" exercise. Utilizing a place cot helps your dog learn, eventually you can place on their own peice of furniture, their crate with an open door, or even a penny! All it takes is practice.

This exercise is helpful in many situations:
- When eating to prevent begging
- When guests visit to manage interactions and ensure a safe greetings
- During family gatherings to reduce stress and disruptive behaviors by giving your dog a place to observe from a distance
- When dining out to hold your dog accountable and not disrupt the flow of servers and other patrons
