Talk about perfect timing!

After making his debut as our Dog of the Day today, Buzz caught the attention of some very special people. His adopters came straight to the shelter to meet him, and it didn't take long for them to know he was the one.

Sometimes the right family comes along exactly when a dog needs them most, and that's exactly what happened for Buzz. What started as an ordinary day quickly turned into the day he found his forever home!

We're so excited for this deserving boy as he begins his next chapter filled with love, comfort, and endless adventures with his new family.

Today we're celebrating sweet Chaka and the wonderful family who saw just how special he is!

Chaka may be a shy boy, but beneath that quiet demeanor is a loving heart that was just waiting for the right people to help him shine. We're thrilled to share that he has found his forever home and is beginning the next chapter of his life surrounded by love, patience, and understanding.

Watching shy dogs gain confidence and find families who appreciate them for exactly who they are is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Chaka's happy ending is proof that sometimes the best things are worth waiting for.

🎉❤️ Happy Adoption Day, Carlyle (now Titus)! ❤️🎉

What a wonderful ending to this sweet boy's journey!

Titus came to us as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed. Despite his uncertain start, he quickly showed everyone what a loving and special dog he is.

His adopters opened their hearts and home to him as fosters, and before long, they fell completely in love. After being neutered and receiving a clean bill of health, today his adoption was officially finalized!

Now Titus has exactly what every shelter dog dreams of—a family to call his own and a future filled with love, comfort, and happiness. 🏡🐾

Congratulations to Titus and his new family! Thank you for giving this deserving boy the forever home he has been waiting for. We can't wait to see all the adventures ahead for this happy pup. ❤️

Buzz is fully vetted and ready to go home! He is:

✅ Up to date on vaccines
✅ Microchipped
✅ Heartworm negative

Buzz enjoys companionship and would thrive with a family willing to give him the time and encouragement he needs to come out of his shell. Once he trusts you, you'll discover a loyal best friend who will be by your side through life's adventures.

🐶🌟 DOG OF THE DAY: TICK (aka Mr. Bean) 🌟🐶

Meet Tick... or as we like to call him, Mr. Bean. 🤣

This funny-looking little dude has been hanging out at the shelter since 5/26/26, and honestly, we're starting to think he believes he works here.

When Tick was first found, the good Samaritan who found him thought he'd been hit by a car because he was having trouble using one of his legs. After a veterinary exam, the culprit was discovered...

🥁 A BIG FAT TICK. 🥁

That's right. Our boy Tick got his name the old-fashioned way. The tick had caused temporary loss of function in his leg, but after treatment and some TLC, he's back to zooming around like nothing ever happened!

Now fully recovered, Tick is ready to find a family who appreciates his one-of-a-kind charm. We're not entirely sure what breeds went into making this handsome little weirdo, but whatever the recipe was, it produced something special. ❤️

🎉🐾 Double the Adoptions, Double the Happy Tails! 🐾🎉

Today we're celebrating Freddy and Carly, two siblings whose journey has come full circle. ❤️🏡

On April 13, 2026, Freddy and Carly were brought to the shelter after being found abandoned on the side of the road. They arrived sick, scared, and in need of plenty of care, but they quickly proved just how resilient they were.

With veterinary treatment, proper nutrition, and lots of love, both puppies grew stronger each day. Once they were healthy, fully vetted, and ready for adoption, they began the search for families of their own.

We're thrilled to share that Freddy was adopted yesterday, and Carly has now found her forever home today as well! 🎉🐾

These two sweet pups have overcome so much, and now they are both exactly where they belong—surrounded by love and starting exciting new chapters with their forever families.

What began as a heartbreaking story on the side of the road has turned into a beautiful success story. And with Carly's adoption, both siblings have officially found homes of their own. ❤️

Thank you to their adopters for giving them the futures they deserve.

Congratulations, Freddy and Carly! We can't wait to see all the adventures, cuddles, and happy memories ahead for both of you. 🐶💕🏡
