Male Chubby Frog, Kaloula pulchra, with his mating call. These are normals but we do have albinos that will hopefully be producing as well, that male is just a wee bit shy and won't perform on film 🤣

That time of year again folks... going deaf for the greater good! Other than their rather distinct call driving me insane, I would have to say this is one of my absolute favorite true toad species. With the rise in micro-habitats, I still dont understand how the Oak Toad, Anaxyrus quercicus, has not gotten its moment in the spot light yet. Tadpoles will be hatching out in 2 days here though!

This species is less commonly bred and raised, for what reason I do not know.

These are my Red line Southern Toads, Anaxyrus terrestris. They may not have the reputation for being the coolest species in the world, but they all have personalities and captive bred is a much better route than all of the WC individuals found. If youre a toad person, im sure you know what I mean.

Well guys, we are starting this year off with one of my all time favorite species. This is my first non-pacman frog spawn of the year and it is the wonderful Eastern Spadefoot, Scaphiopus holbrookii. Should be big enough to find new homes in about 3 months.

Not sure what species will be next, but hold on tight because this year is going to be absolutely insane!
