Small Business Saturday passed while I was recuperating from a vacation, a Thanksgiving celebration with an abundance of homemade food and pies, Black Friday shopping with five of my granddaughters and grandniece, and Christmas decorating. We would like to extend our gratitude to our small business, which has grown beyond our expectations. Thank you all for your support of Durham Taxidermy.

This big Mexico bird will be ready soon. Why does hos tail look like that ? Because of memories the customer said he came over the hill looking like this. He turned out just as nice as we could make him lol.

Another “ puzzle “lol turkey feather art is not for the meek !! I wash , dry , cut apart , pluck and place the pieces together !! Very much appreciate the help of Lori and Katlyn.

Turkey art piece #2 in the making.

Most dont realize what goes into these pieces, they are intricate. Every single feather is touched in some way. The majority of feathers are plucked and cut then individually placed into the piece. Final piece should be able to be posted tomorrow.

A flying bird after vacation isn’t what you want to tackle but we accomplished it !s few adjustments snd a painted head he will be ready yo go home after drying.
