The art of stalking….

10/23/2026

When your dog is fearful, aggressive toward, or hasn’t been exposed to moving vehicle vehicles enough, the best thing to do is to stand at a busy corner, calmly, and sit with your dog. Just let them absorb the activity without talking to them. This helps build confidence in your dog and allows them to be more confident with other things.
The key is exposure in a positive calm manner to anything they are showing any hesitation towards.

Do not ever use “it’s ok” to a dog. All that does is make them anxious. By saying those words to a fearful dog, you have confirmed they were right to be afraid of something.

This video is one of my five month old puppies getting positive and calm exposure to traffic.

I have a gentleman looking for a female Rottweiler puppy.
I only have one left and I’m looking for her to go to a show home.

This gentleman is located in Peoria. If you have a litter currently, or have one in the oven, PM me so I may pass on it the information for him.

I will only forward on information for litters that were fully medically tested.

While this article is from 15 years ago, it is still relevant today. Female dog that their ovaries through six years of age are 4.6 times more likely to reach the age of 13.
However, that does not mean they can get pyometra, an infection in the uterus are a female dog. If not, caught in time, can be fatal.

It is one of the reasons I advocate, delaying a spay for a female dog before they are fully grown or asking for saving surgery otherwise known OSS.

The study, published in the December 2009 issue of the journal Aging Cell, found that Rottweilers that were spayed after they were 6 years old were 4.6 times
