Covey Run offers boarding and training services for people interested in joining our program! Our setting offers extensive possibilities for fitness training, dressage, cross country, jump schooling and relaxing hacks. Our facility boasts an updated bank barn with hot and cold

wash stall and a spacious tack room. The large arena with a full jump course and dressage arena gives horses of any level plenty of options to school. There are miles of great hacking and fitness land right out our back door. Our training program encourages strong owner participation that is tailored to each individual situation. Don’t look any further, this is the small gelding (hony) everyone is looking for!

A Cross bred, Been There, Done That type! Elliewood Harvest Moon Or Harvey as we call him is a 14.3 H Welsh Cob/ QH Cross with a big barrel. DOB 9/16/16

Harvey is a fabulous fellow who is happy and very kind. He is easy on the flat with three nice gaits schooling first level dressage. He moves nicely off your leg and is soft in the bridle. Harvey loves to jump also! He took his teenage rider from being a bit timid jumping cross rails to jumping 2’9/3 foot consistently and confidently.

He is brave, tidy and does not have a stop. He also loves to jump cross country! Water, ditches, banks logs, houses are no problem for him. Harvey has his own engine and listens well to a half halt. He evented successfully in Starter and BN level. He even wore a curious George costume at Plantation Field!

Want to go for a Hack?? Harvey is game. Alone or in company, he loves a good hack. Streams, deer, bikes, no problem! He has also enjoyed paper chases with his previous owner. Harvey is a wonderful all around partner for a variety of activities. He is sound with great Feet and stays in good condition with minimal food!

ISO ( Oxford Pa) We are looking for a great new team member! Full time barn job ( very little mucking ) duties to include bring in and turning out, grooming, tacking up and untacking, general barn tidiness etc. Laughing and working with some great coworkers and clients! Cuddling cute dogs and playing with nice horses! Room to bring a horse and help with training if that is a priority for you! Some experience with working with horses is preferred. We had a successful day at NJHP this weekend! Shelby and Fish were fourth in the training ! Ann and Mac won their BN class! Both ladies work hard! Well done.

A successful day was had by all at Fair Hill last Saturday! Ann Bradley and Mac had a good go and their best showing jumping to date. Katie Hall and Godric finished a strong 2nd in the novice! Maggie Glenn had a great confident go in the novice to finish 5th. I rode Ryan who finished 4 th in his starter decision after a pesky spooky rails!! He is a good baby! Leader and I finished 2nd with lots of good learning in his 2 BN. Thanks to Cheryl and Lily for all their help! Looking forward to the next one!!

Vino had his fourth level debut yesterday at Red Tail. He earned a 68.3 in his 4.3 test and while there is always room for improvement, I am so proud of his efforts!! This horse is such a gift to me! Thanks Kim for always sharing in the adventures and joy that Vino gives us!! Thanks Emily Donaldson for all the knowledge!
