PTS at Crosswinds Farm this past weekend was so much fun!

It was all about firsts, learning experiences, and having a whole lot of fun along the way.

We had several riders stepping into the show ring for the first time, a few young horses gaining valuable miles, and plenty of moments that reminded us why we love this sport. From nerves at the in-gate to smiles after the final trip, every rider and horse walked away a little more experienced than when they arrived.

There were ribbons, there were lessons, there were a few “well, that was exciting!” moments, and there was a lot of cheering from the sidelines. That’s what these shows are all about.

Congratulations to everyone who represented Camelot Farm at Crosswinds. Whether you brought home a ribbon or simply checked a goal off your list, we’re proud of all of you! 💙

Now it’s time to unpack the tack trunks, wash the horses, and start counting down to the next show! 🐴✨

Kicking off the PTS season at Fields & Fences on Mother’s Day was the perfect way to start this circuit season 🌸

There’s something extra special about watching so many riders step into the show ring for the very first time… nervous smiles, early mornings, learning moments, proud parents, and lots of cheering.

For those unfamiliar, the PTS (Place to Start) circuit was created to give horses and riders an affordable, welcoming, professionally run environment to gain experience and confidence in the show ring. It truly lives up to its name and has become such a positive stepping stone for so many riders in our horse show community.

Huge thank you to all of our riders, trainers, horse show moms (especially the Mother’s Day MVPs 💕), and everyone who helped make the weekend fun.

Senior Spotlight Alert

Please help us congratulate Katie on her next big adventure! 🎓

This fall, Katie will be attending University of Minnesota Crookston where she plans to study General Health Science with hopes of pursuing a career in Forensic Science after graduation. 🔬🧬

As if that wasn’t exciting enough… she will also be continuing her riding career on their NCEA team! We are so proud of all of her hard work both in and out of the saddle and can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings.

Katie, your determination, kindness, and work ethic will take you far. Camelot Farm is cheering you on every step of the way! 🐎

Lamplight Kickoff = COMPLETE

Our first Lamplight Equestrian Center show of the season is officially in the books and it brought a little bit of everything 🌧️💨☀️

Rain? ✔️
Wind? ✔️
A little sunshine? ✔️
And somehow… all the smiles too ❤️

We showed up with 19 horses, a crew of riders that felt like it doubled by the hour, and enough gear to survive just about anything (including the weather).

Shoutout to the real MVPs of the weekend:
Golf carts getting us everywhere (eventually)
Electric scooters saving our legs
Chili in the crockpot keeping everyone warm and fed

This crew showed up, rode hard, laughed a lot, and made the best of every single moment no matter what the forecast threw our way.

Grateful for this team, this barn family, and kicking off the season together like this. Let’s keep it rolling 💙
