Lewis Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time veterinary technician to join our team. We are an equine ambulatory practice that serves the northern Illinois area.

When in the field, the candidate will be responsible for handling of horses for examinations, set up of equipment, driving between appointments, stocking trucks at the end of the day, processing in-house blood samples and organizing specimens for laboratory pick up.

The ideal candidate has an exceptional work ethic, a desire to learn, and ability to work efficiently with attention to detail. Experience and comfort handling horses is of top priority. Veterinary knowledge and experience are a plus but not required.
