It’s Halloween, and everyone wants to dress their dogs up 🎃 And while we can’t say they actually enjoy it, some dogs are definitely more tolerant than others…

Please respect your dog’s feelings, and if they aren’t willing participants, don’t force them. Let them start checking out costuming beforehand, even days before, and reward them for approaching and sniffing, gradually increasing their exposure.

If they wear jackets, they may be more accepting of a body costume, but maybe not something on their head. Or vice versa… Each dog is an individual.

Georgie, one of our PDS participants was a very good sport about all the hats! This is his resting Georgie face, and if he wasn’t interested, we’d know as he would have voted with his feet 🐾

Our Certified Trainers are experts at helping you get your puppy get a head start on training and socialization. At our Puppy Day School your puppy will spend 90 minutes each week one-on-one with a trainer, where they will have a full service training lesson, a grooming and handling session, a walk in the community for socialization, and work with confidence building equipment!
