Did you know today is National Cupcake Day? 🧁

Last Saturday a wonderful volunteer brought mini cupcakes for ALL the dogs at RCHS and they went crazy for them!

TODAY’S 🎅📸 RCHS Pictures with Santa: Paws & Claws Holiday Photos for a Good Cause! 🐾🎄 WAS SUCH A SUCCESS!

We are OVERJOYED to share that, thanks to your incredible support, we raised $1,397 from our Bake Sale & Hot Chocolate fundraiser and our Pictures with Santa printed-photo fundraiser — HOLY COW! 🐮

✨ This will make a BIG difference for our animals here. We could never have done it without our amazing community!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who braved the snow and joined us! We’re so grateful you came out and that everyone made it home safely. ❄️❤️

Shout outs and special thanks to the WONDERFUL PEOPLE who made today possible:
1. To our managers and employees for spending the morning cleaning and getting all three buildings ready! Your hard work set the stage for a beautiful day. 🙌

Celebrate the holiday season with us at the Ripley County Humane Society's festive event, "Pictures with Santa," where you can capture the magic of Christmas and support a great cause!

Enjoy free digital photos and printed photos can be available for a minimum $5 donation! Bring your family, friends, and pets to meet Santa and create lasting holiday memories!

🎁 Pet Angel Gift Tree
Spread the love this season! Purchase a special gift for a furry friend in need. Your generosity will make a difference in their lives and give them happy holiday spirit! Envelopes will be available during the event for families to snag!

☕ Hot Chocolate for a suggested donation of $1 a cup! Marshmallow & Whip Cream!

UPDATE! Bellas adoption fee has been covered (with an approved application) , now she just needs a home!! She was recently moved into a foster home, please call 812-655-1974 to set up a meet and greet.

Ok MEET BELLA, from Ripley Co. she arrived at my house today and is doing fantastic this girl has been at the shelter for 303 days yes 303 day 😢 and she is perfect and this is her story

Bella's original owner lost his job and then lost his home. After living in his truck with Bella and her brother, Bruno, he realized that he couldn't continue to care for them. With much sadness he brought them to the humane society and surrendered them. Months later after losing her dad, she then watched her little big brother Bruno get adopted. Now, months later she is still seeking her forever home. Bella is a sweet girl and has done well with all of our staff and volunteers. She is on the older side with a graying muzzle but still has a lot of pep to her step. At best guess we believe her to be about 6-7 years old and a lab mix.

Let’s share share share and give this girl the Christmas she has been waiting for ❤️🎄

We have lots of people asking if Pictures with Santa will be proceeding as planned. As of now, YES! We heard from Santa today and he assured us that he will be there!

We are checking in with our friends at Cincy Camera Guys just to make sure that the weather won't be an issue. We will keep you posted, but as of now, we are a go!

We are joining the Ripley County Humane Society for their Pictures with Santa event to raise money for the animals this holiday season!
