This was sent in by a community member asking for help bringing their baby home! This sweet girl is missing from the 300 area in Holton, Indiana, and is not wearing a collar.

📍 Last seen at her residence on November 1st at 10:00 AM.

Please take a moment to share, keep an eye out, and check around your property. Any information or sightings could help her family find her. Even a simple share could reach the person who knows where she is! 💙

🐾 November 2–8 is Animal Shelter & Humane Society Appreciation Week! 🐾

Behind every animal at Ripley County Humane Society is a team of people showing up to make sure they are fed, comfortable, cared for, and loved while they wait for a family of their own. 💙

This week, we want to recognize our staff, volunteers, adopters, donors, and community supporters. From cleaning kennels and walking dogs to donating supplies and sharing adoptable pets, every act of kindness helps us continue this work.

Humane society work brings beautiful moments, tough days, and plenty of messes. Through it all, the animals give us a reason to keep showing up and your support helps make that possible.

Want to show your appreciation this week? Donate supplies, ask about volunteering, share an adoptable animal, or leave a kind word for our team. Those gestures mean more than you know.

This boy is a certified goofball! He loves running around, playing, and making the most out of every moment. 🥳

Whether he’s zooming around the yard or showing off his adorable derpy personality, he’s sure to keep a smile on your face!

His happy-go-lucky spirit and sweet heart make him one special guy. 💛

Sometimes the big world can feel a little scary, and new things may take him some time to get used to. But with a patient, confident owner who can reassure him and show him the ropes, we believe he can overcome those challenges and grow into an even more confident companion! 😊

He just needs someone willing to guide him, encourage him, and remind him that he’s safe.

🐾 Around 350 dogs and cats and a community making a difference! 💙

So far in 2026, Ripley County Humane Society has helped approximately 350 dogs and cats get spayed and neutered through our partnership with Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic!

Each of these surgeries is a step toward preventing unwanted litters, reducing pet overpopulation, and easing the strain on shelters and rescues. Making affordable spay and neuter services accessible is an important part of building a better future for animals in our community. 🐶🐱

To everyone who scheduled their pets, shared our clinic information, donated, volunteered, or encouraged someone to participate, thank you! Your support helps make these monthly clinics possible, and these efforts wouldn’t be the same without you.

A special thank you to our partners at the clinic for helping us turn this need into meaningful action! We’re looking forward to continuing our monthly clinics in 2027 and helping even more pets and families. Together, we’re making a lasting difference, one animal at a time. 💙🐾

Chester is back home! ❤️

🚨 FOUND DOG IN BATESVILLE, INDIANA! 🚨

🐾 Is this your boy? 🐾

This handsome guy was found in Batesville, Indiana, and is currently in the care of Ripley County Humane Society. He is a male and is definitely not a puppy. We estimate he may be around 4 years old or possibly older.

He came in wearing a collar, but unfortunately, there were no tags to help us find his family. ❤️

We would love to get this sweet boy back home where he belongs! If you recognize him or believe he may be your dog, please contact Ripley County Humane Society.

Meet Buttons! 🐶‼️

Buttons is ready to wiggle her way right into your heart! ❤️

This sweet girl has a playful personality, lots of energy, and a whole lot of love to give. 🥰

Her favorite thing might just be showing off her silly side, especially when she gets the zoomies on walks! Get ready for plenty of laughs, adventures, and tail wags with this adorable girl!

Buttons gets along with dogs and cats, too! 🐶🐱A meet-and-greet is required if you have other dogs to make sure everyone gets along.

She hasn't been around children yet, so her compatibility with kids is unknown.

Buttons is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and microchipped, so she's ready to start her next chapter with a loving family. 🏡
