Handyman Needed! We are looking for a handyman, that would be available as needed to come out and do general repairs around our humane society. Common issues are fence repair, light plumbing, dog pen repair, doors and general repairs as needed. Would love a contract that we could keep open on a billable hours basis. Would ask for a release of liability form be filled out. Anyone with an affinity for animals that is willing to give us a discounted rate would be greatly appreciated! Behind the Scenes at Ripley Humane

We are so grateful to our friends at Smart Dog School! Four trainers joined us on site today to work with our large dogs. Local trainer, Avery Perkinson with K9 Tails of Success, also enjoyed the day with us.

All of the dogs in this video are looking for their forever home! If you see one you like, come and visit any day between 12-330pm.

Community outreach opportunity. We would like to help a local family that found a mom with 7 pups on their property.

We are looking for a foster that can take them in. We would work to get them all of their vaccines and dewormer, and adopt them out when old enough. We will provide food, puppy Pen, crate and supplies. Even a garage or barn stall would help. This family is currently next to the road and pups will be in danger once they become more mobile.

🎾Where are they now!?🎾

“Cooper (formerly Brazil). Cooper was adopted on 8/17/24. Cooper started out pretty scared of everything but has adapted to his surroundings. He loves to run, play ball, chew sticks, and go for walks/runs. Cooper is a master at performing sqeakerectomies. I have yet to find a squeaky toy he can’t demolish. He is positive every person he encounters wants to play with him. I was told his mom is a Rhodesian Ridgeback and his dad is some kind of Beagle. His Embark results are far from either. Embark and I agree he is an exceptional boy.”
