Where did Day 6 Taxidermy get its name? In Genesis the first chapter, verses 24 and 25, God created the animals of the land on the sixth day of creation.

Well it’s that time of year again, I hope opening day has treated you all well so far…I am completely full for the year and only have about 5 spots left for Whitetails that are saved/claimed for my current/regular clients, once I fill those last spots I won’t be taking anymore until October 2026. I usually post a little earlier for a heads up that I’m getting close but it happened so quick this year that I didn’t get a chance.

For those who have already talked with me and have an appointment to drop off or I have confirmed your spot, you have your spot so no worries there.

Well today is the day a lot of Indiana trappers have been waiting years for! The first day of Indiana’s bobcat trapping season. I already skinned out the first Indiana cat of the year for tagging this morning. If you plan to have me mount your cat please bring it to me so I can skin it before you take the pelt for tagging. Also on dispatching your catch please no heads shots! .22lr to the lungs or a catch pole will make for the best mount. Good luck to everybody that is out trying to catch one!
