Microchips provide permanent identification, but they're only effective if your registration information is current. July is Pet Hydration Awareness Month, making it the perfect reminder to keep water available wherever your adventures take you. Whether you're hiking, spending time in the backyard, or enjoying a neighborhood walk, always offer fresh water frequently and make sure your pet has access to shade. Staying hydrated is one of the easiest ways to help prevent heat-related illness.

Summer temperatures can become dangerous faster than many people realize. Walk your pet during the cooler morning or evening hours, provide plenty of fresh water, and avoid hot pavement that can burn sensitive paw pads.

If your pet is heavily panting, slowing down, or acting unusually tired, move them to a cool area immediately and contact us if signs worsen.
