Cleo was in pain and needed surgery—fast. Bladder stones were putting her health at serious risk, and without urgent care, her future was uncertain. Thanks to the Crucial Care Fund and our incredible partner Frankie's Friends Pet Foundation, Cleo got the surgery she needed—and a fresh start.

“Thank you so much to Frankie’s Friends and everyone who donated for helping us get Cleo the care she needed. Cleo is my son’s best friend and she helps him with his separation anxiety. We are so grateful that she will get to stay with our family and will be much more comfortable now after her surgery.” — Cleo's Family

For too many Florida families, life-saving care is financially out of reach. But with your help, we can say yes to more pets like Cleo. Donate to the Crucial Care Fund today and help us bridge the gap between what pets need and what families can afford: https://fvma.org/crucialcare/

We want to give a shoutout to everyone who has donated to the Crucial Care Fund so far! Your generous donations have helped pets like Mia get a second chance.

"We are extremely grateful and had been praying for the help our girl Mia so desperately needed. We have had her since she was 6 months old and my daughter was 6 months old. They have grown up together and are both now 10 years old and we would love to keep her for the rest of her life." - Mia's Family.

When Mia needed an emergency enucleation her family couldn’t afford, the Crucial Care Fund stepped in to help. Created by the FVMA Foundation in partnership with Frankie's Friends Pet Foundation, the fund provides lifesaving financial aid to Florida pet owners facing medical emergencies they can’t afford.

Help bridge the gap between financial limitations and quality care. Donate today: https://fvma.org/crucialcare/

Check out these amazing memories captured at our Performance Horse Wet Lab earlier this month. This event marked a major success for our non-conference CE offerings. Attendees got hands-on practice with live horses and cadavers, as well as one-on-one instruction from practitioners with decades of experience. We can't wait to showcase what's in store for the future. Stay tuned for more educational offerings from the FAEP!

So far, the FVMA Foundation has granted a total of $175,000, supporting more than 700 animals and individuals across the state. As the holidays approach, we’re looking to end this year on a high note, and your contribution this Giving Tuesday can help us uplift a record number of lives within the veterinary community.

From our “Inspire by FVMA” program, which provides wellbeing and mental health support to veterinary teams, to our Crucial Care Fund, founded in partnership with Frankie's Friends Pet Foundation, which helps us direct funds to pets in need of emergency care, our goal across all of our programs is to give back to those who dedicate themselves to the thankless job of providing medical care and advocating for the health and protection of Florida’s animal populations.

Whether their patients bark, meow, cluck, or neigh, the FVMA Foundation stands beside every caregiver and every patient.
