When temperatures climb, a little preparation goes a long way in keeping pups safe, comfortable, and ready for fun.

Hot pavement can burn paw pads in seconds. ☀️🔥🐾
Even when the air temperature is only 85°F, asphalt can reach 130°F or more. If it’s too hot for the back of your hand for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.
That’s why dog boots are one of our favorite summer safety tools. They help protect against burns, blisters, and painful paw pad injuries!

Our Urban CGC Mini Course was a pawsome time! 🐾
These pups worked hard putting their skills into action around Lake Eola and downtown Orlando.

We focused on loose leash walking through the busy city, down stays in downtown, and handler engagement around all the exciting distractions (especially the swans! 🦢).

We can’t wait for our next Urban Mini Course at Boxi Park, where they’ll put their skills to the test as they work toward earning their AKC Urban CGC title! 🎓🐕

Calling all Jr. K9 handlers who love dogs and want hands-on experience learning how to care for, train, and understand them! 💛
Join us for a week of fun at BTL’S JR. K9 Summer Camp!

📅 July 20th-24th
⏰ 9AM–4PM
$400 per child

Throughout the week, campers will enjoy interactive dog activities and games, a trip to the farm, dock diving demonstrations, and visits from special guests including therapy K9s, police K9s, and bomb dogs. This is more than just a summer camp, it’s an opportunity to build skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of dogs.

We are changing up our Urban CGC summer schedule! ☀️
Instead of our normal 5-week course, we’re offering Urban CGC as a mini-course this round!
With the summer heat and those unpredictable afternoon thunderstorms ⛈️, we wanted to make it easier for everyone to get out and train with us.

📍 Urban Skills Practice
June 18th | 6:30 PM @ Outpost Neighborhood Tavern Lake Eola
Join us to practice your Urban CGC skills in a real-world environment and get ready for testing!

📍 Urban CGC Evaluation
July 9th | 6:30 PM @ Boxi Park (meet by the Mirror Dog)
Come put your training to the test and earn your AKC Urban CGC title!

Everyone is welcome to join us, whether you’re preparing to test or just looking for extra practice. Drop-in rate is $50 per class.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we know who to expect. We can’t wait to train with you and your pups this summer! 🐶💛

Don’t mind us… just dreaming about more pool days 💭💦☀️

Our dock diving pool has been a pup favorite lately, and spots are filling FAST! We’re currently booked a few weeks out, so don’t wait to get your pup signed up for swim lessons, dock diving lessons, or dock diving sessions 🐾

The pool on Sundays from 8am–1pm, and don’t forget your pups can also join us on Thursdays when we bus them to the pool during day camp! 🚌🌊

We can’t wait to make a splash with your pups all summer long✨
