Doglando Foundation Our vision is to educate and encourage on behalf of dogs and humans in our community. Our rescue programs are intentionally created to help the most in need.

The Doglando Foundation envisions a world where the dog and human relationship is looked at in a different light. We have designed and developed programs that provide for a safe, nurturing, and enrichment-filled environment which encourages coexistence and companionship. Our Puppy B.R.E.A.T.H. program's stated purpose is to rescue pregnant dogs and unwanted puppies in order to enrich their lives b

y encouraging them to grow, socialize, explore, and thrive. We are unlike other rescues because we choose to keep mom and puppies together for up to 18 weeks allowing for more bonding time and a natural way of learning from each other.

Camp Doglando 2026 is officially underway, and Freedom and Yankee are spending their days learning alongside our campers.

These two brothers, who joined us after being found abandoned on Memorial Day, are getting the opportunity to explore, build confidence, form relationships, and experience all the adventures camp has to offer. Watching them settle in and grow has been incredibly special.

Both Freedom and Yankee are available for adoption and looking for families of their own.

And don’t forget about Bae and Jack! While they aren’t participating in camp, they are continuing their journey on the enrichment side and are also still available for adoption. Every day brings new opportunities for learning, growth, and connection as they prepare for their future homes.

More photos are coming soon, but for now we wanted to remind everyone that Freedom, Yankee, Bae, and Jack are all still searching for the people they can call family.

Meet Freedom, a young shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love waiting to be shared.

Freedom’s story started with being abandoned, but he hasn’t let that dim his sweet spirit. He can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his loyal and loving personality begins to shine. He enjoys being close to his people and is looking for a family willing to give him the patience and kindness he deserves.

Reunion Saturday was a blast! 🐾❤️

Litter K, Litter Q, Litter M, Litter N, and Litter S all came back together for a day filled with zoomies, family photos, familiar faces, and enough puppy chaos to remind us that littermates never outgrow the ability to annoy each other. 😂

One of the best parts of the day was seeing the volunteers who helped raise these litters reunite with the puppies they poured so much love into. From bottle feedings and puppy cleanups to socialization outings, training adventures, and countless belly rubs, these dogs are who they are today because of the village that helped raise them.

Watching these pups grow from tiny babies into confident, happy dogs living amazing lives is what the Puppy B.R.E.A.T.H. Project is all about. Thank you to every family, volunteer, supporter, and foster who helped make these success stories possible.

Once family, always family. ❤️

Serina is the kind of dog people often overlook and that’s exactly what makes her story so heartbreaking.

She’s the last of her litter still waiting for a family.

At adoption events, Serina doesn’t run up to strangers asking for attention. She doesn’t jump, demand affection, or immediately melt into someone’s arms. Because of that, people call her “shy.”

But shy isn’t the right word.

Serina is thoughtful. Careful. Observant.

She’s a dog who needs to feel safe before she gives you her heart. A dog who watches quietly before deciding if she can trust you. A dog who doesn’t believe love should be rushed.

And honestly… there’s something incredibly beautiful about that.

If you’ve seen her off leash with us at our Avalon events, you’ve already seen the real Serina. She stays close to her people. She checks in constantly. She follows quietly beside the ones she trusts. Once you’re hers, she is loyal in the softest, deepest way.

She just needs someone willing to give her love before she knows how to give it back.

Someone patient.
Someone gentle.
Someone who understands that the best relationships are built, not forced.

Serina is not a “perfect on paper” dog for quick meet-and-greets. She doesn’t perform for attention. She won’t win over every stranger in 30 seconds.

But for the person willing to take the time?
She will become the kind of companion that changes your life.

Every one of her siblings has been chosen. And somehow this sweet girl is still waiting, watching families pass her by simply because she takes a little longer to open up.

We know her person is out there. The one who will see beyond the hesitation and recognize the incredible dog underneath it.

Meet Liberty 💫

***Let’s share to find her forever family!!***

Those ears. That face. That personality. It’s impossible not to fall in love with her the second you meet her.

Liberty is a 7-month-old spayed female who is fully vaccinated and more than ready to find the family she’s been waiting for. She’s the last of her litter still searching for a home, and while all of her siblings have been chosen, Liberty is still patiently hoping her people are out there.

She’s playful, energetic, and absolutely full of life. Liberty loves to run, zoom around the yard, wrestle with dog friends, and turn every toy into the best thing ever. After all the excitement, she crashes hard for puppy naps and cuddles like the baby she still is.

Liberty would thrive with an active family that understands young dogs need structure, exercise, and love. She would especially love a home with another mature, socialized dog to help guide her and play with her. She adores kids, is crate trained, and has the funniest little squirrely personality that keeps everyone smiling.

She’s goofy. She’s loving. She’s wildly expressive. And those giant ears somehow make every emotion she feels even sweeter.

What Liberty wants most is simple: a family of her own. Someone to choose her. Someone who sees past being “the last one left” and realizes she’s been worth waiting for all along.
