We are a foster-based, non-profit, all breed animal rescue Together we are saving hundreds of animal lives annually.

Half-Way Home Animal Rescue is a not-for-profit organization that is made up of a group of individuals and volunteers. Along with the support and donations from individuals, veterinarians, and others we strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Every week, more homeless animals arrive at our rescue looking for safety, love… and a full belly. As our rescue family grows, so does the amount of food it takes to care for them.

Thanks to the rescue food bank, we’re able to purchase food at a deeply discounted price. To place our next order—including the truck rental to pick it up—we need to raise $998.55.

Your donation helps feed the dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in our care while they wait for loving families. No gift is too small—every dollar helps keep hungry tummies full.

🆘 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED TONIGHT 🆘

We need to find a foster for these 3 pups who are 5-6 weeks old and only approx 2lbs each. They have been removed from a home and were never in a shelter. We don’t know genders or breed. They need to be fostered together.

If you are able to take them in tonight until they are adopted PLEASE fill out a FOSTER application asap and a volunteer will reach out to discuss fostering. They would arrive in the Orland Park area, not sure of exact ETA tonight.
