--What keeps you excited to come to work each day?
No two days are ever the same. Every shift brings something new to learn, a different challenge to tackle, and another opportunity to help animals.

--Tell us about your crew at home!
My house is basically a zoo, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

🐶 9 dogs: Mocha, Cocoa, Echo, Sammy, Sasha, Jasper, Millie, Brownie, and R***r
🐱 3 cats: Smokey, Sophie, and Drakey
🦜 Umbrella Cockatoo: Chucky
🐢 2 tortoises: Jorge and Mana Loa
🐭 Chinchilla: Carlos
🐔 Plus lots of chickens and ducks!

--What's next on your journey?
I'm currently a senior in high school and will be attending Purdue University this fall, where I'll be studying Biology on the Pre-Veterinary track as I work toward my dream of becoming a veterinarian.

Whether she’s helping a patient, mentoring a team member, or finding a new and better way to do something, Dr. Lukas brings so much heart, knowledge, and dedication to everything she does. She never stops learning and is always looking for ways to improve patient care, making a difference not only for our clients and pets, but for our entire team.
