Potty breaks are usually 15 min visits and include water refreshment and treat dispersal. Dog walks are typically done in increments of 30 mins, 45 mins, or 60 mins. Pet Sits are similar to dog walks but include feeding a meal. I'll come clean your yard!

Meet Coco!

Coco is a beautiful 3-year-old German Shepherd looking for a forever family to call her own. She has had professional training and is a very smart girl who thrives with structure and consistency. True to her breed, Coco does best when she has a daily job or activity to keep her mind and body engaged.

She is sweet and affectionate with the people she knows and is also kid-friendly. While Coco will need to be the only pet in the home, she makes up for it with her loyalty and love for her humans. She is currently working on her leash reactivity, and her training support will continue with her adoptive family to set her up for success.

If you’re looking for a devoted companion who is eager to learn and loves being part of a family, Coco may be the perfect match.

Coco recently welcomed a new k9 sister into her family, Rhubarb (Ru for short)!

Ru came from a rescue where she had previously been rescued from a puppy mill setting and wasn’t treated nicely and as such is afraid of new people and just new things in general. We will slowly be working with her to help build some confidence and to show her the world isn’t always such a scary place and that there are still some good people out there. So far, Coco is doing amazing with her and we know she will be a big help later on in Ru’s training!

Food for thought: I like to use grass as a natural “snuffle mat” for some extra mental work for dogs. I can give the food in a bowl or even a slow feeder but this in itself is 10x more mental work than either of those.

We got Bentley conditioned to the ecollar and it’s truly a game changer. He did well without it, but now he’s doing amazing! We worked on place as well as going in and out of the crate. Prior to the ecollar, Bentley would put up a fight going into the crate: rolling on his back, getting mouthy, and just not wanting to go. With food and a little ecollar pressure he now goes in like a champ.

Balik & Orlock took advantage of the heat today and worked on some place work in the shade. We worked both in the yard and inside, as it was too hot for a walk.

Balik has had some prior training, so we are focusing a bit more on some behavior modification for him and implementing more boundaries; while Orlock is only 9 months old and focusing on his basics.
