💋🐾Introducing Camrella De Vil!🐾👄

We had a special guest make a grand entrance at our Halloween parties this week, bringing all the drama, fashion and of course, plenty of spots! 🖤🤍

Our little Dalmatians and their furry friends were dressed to impress, and we had a howling good time celebrating with our very own doggy diva!

Take a peek at some of our favorite party moments and spook-tacular costumes! 📸🧡 We think you'll agree that our pups were just too cute to be cruel! 😉

are you pumped for Halloween? we sure are! 🎃👻🐾

Our annual Halloween costume party is creeping up, and we're getting ready for a whole lot of spooky fun in daycare. Bring your furry friend in their best halloween costume to the OC location on Wednesday, October 28th or the SC location on Thursday, October 29th. 📅

Our halloween parties book up FAST, so make sure you secure your pup's spot before they disappear! 🦇🧡

We made it to Labor Day Weekend! 🎉 One last crazy-busy weekend to wrap up the summer season!

Just a reminder that there will be NO daycare on Monday, and we will only be open from 4–5 PM for boarding drop-off/pick-up.

And if you were lucky enough to be up at 6 AM this morning (like us!), we hope you caught the sunrise before the storm rolled in. The pictures really don’t do it justice, but Psalm 19:1 came to mind:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” ☀️

What a beautiful reminder of how good God is. ❤️ We are so thankful for His blessings and for another amazing summer season with all of our wonderful grooming, daycare and boarding families. Here’s to a great summer season and all that’s still to come! 🐾

Where did summer go?! ☀️

We may be a little behind on sharing, but we promise we’ve been busy making memories, soaking up the sunshine, and spending lots of time with all of our favorite friends! 💛

So, we thought it was about time for a much-needed photo dump! 📸🐶 Here’s a little peek at some of the pups who have been keeping us busy. 🐾

Thanks for being patient with us—we hope these happy faces make up for the wait! 🥰

🏅Best Pet Boarding 🏅Best Grooming

To be recognized alongside so many great businesses in our community truly means the world to us. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making Dutch Dogs the 2026 Best of NWIA winner for Pet Boarding and Grooming.

When I started Dutch Dogs, I never imagined how many amazing people and dogs would become part of our lives and our family. This award is so much more than a title to us-it represents years of hard work, sacrifice, long days, sleepless nights, learning, growing, overcoming challenges, and pouring our hearts into every single pet that walks through our doors.

We are beyond grateful, deeply humbled, and incredibly honored. Thank you to everyone who voted for us, supported us, and continues to trust us with your beloved pets. Thank you to the Northwest lowa community for embracing our dream and allowing us to do what we love every single day.

With love,
Ashley and the entire Dutch Dogs Family
