Carlos is our Halloween Friday Foster Friend!

When Carlos first arrived at CRHS as a stray, he had a little bit of an attitude. Carlos could be a little hot and cold. One minute he might enjoy some attention, and the next, he seemed ready to remind you that he was the one in charge. It was hard to know exactly what he wanted!

But look at him now!

Thanks to his foster family, Carlos has made some incredible progress. His once unpredictable moods have almost completely disappeared, and he’s showing everyone just how sweet, affectionate, and downright lovable he can be.

He’s discovered that belly rubs are pretty wonderful, learned how to politely let his people know when he’s had enough, and made it clear that tasty snacks are always welcome. He’s also learned a lot by watching the other cats in his foster home.

He’s even comfortable enough to let his fosters dress him up! For a cat who once wasn’t quite sure what to think of people, that’s a pretty adorable sign of how far he’s come.

Carlos hasn’t just learned to tolerate life in a home. He’s learning to trust, connect, and enjoy being part of a family. The cat who once kept everyone guessing is letting his sweet personality shine, and his confidence continues to grow.
Carlos is proof that a foster home can change everything!

Home-to-home placements are far less stressful on animals needing a new place to live and it decreases the number of animals in our already crowded shelter.
