🐾🔎 LICE: The Itchy Truth About Your Pets! 🐶🐱

Did you know that dogs and cats can get lice, too? While lice are less common than fleas, these tiny parasites can cause some BIG discomfort for your furry friends.

Lice are species-specific, meaning dog lice generally stay on dogs and cat lice stay on cats. You don't need to worry about catching your pet's lice!

⚠️ Important pet safety tip: Never use a dog flea or lice product on a cat unless the label specifically says it is safe for cats. Some ingredients, including permethrin in many dog products, are highly toxic to cats!

❤️ A little prevention goes a long way toward keeping your pets happy, healthy, and itch-free!

Announcement ❤️

It is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Dr. Kayla Bloede has made the difficult decision to pursue a new opportunity in veterinary medicine. We are incredibly grateful for the time, care, and dedication she has shared with our team, the pets, and people she has served. Her last day will be this Friday 10/30.

Please join us in wishing Dr. Bloede continued success, happiness, and fulfillment as she begins this exciting new chapter in her veterinary career. She will be missed, and we wish her nothing but the very best in all that lies ahead! ❤️🐾

🐱 Kitties at the Vet Clinic! 🐾

We recommend that all our feline friends travel to their vet visits in a secure carrier or kennel (or even a cute stroller like this one! 🐈🛒).

Vet clinics are full of unfamiliar smells, sounds, and sights that can startle even the calmest cats. Keeping your kitty safely contained helps prevent them from getting spooked and accidentally escaping from their owner.

💗 Safety first, kitties! A little preparation goes a long way in making vet visits safer and less stressful for everyone. 🐾
