After losing Nina and Storm yesterday I threw myself into working with Honey. I needed a distraction from the pain. Well it is paying off! First photo is yesterday and next photo is today in my kitchen. Still no touchy touchy but this is a huge milestone!

Today we lost not one but two ferrets 😔 one passed her in sleep and other passed on the way to the vets. Ive never had this happen. Both where older ferrets and slowing down but this was not what I expected so quickly. Dook in peace Nina and Storm

As expected Honey is shut down. We bought a large indoor pen for her and have laid out wee pads. She has not moved since 4pm and its not 8pm. I dont expect her too honestly. For the next few days we will just let her be and change out wee pads as needed. As for the next week no company or adoptions. We need to make our home as quite and as comfortable as possible and people In and out will not help her decompress.

Is anyone able to help move a couch out tomorrow? Also its free if you enjoy the smell of disrespectful ferrets 🤦‍♀️ didnt know getting the older group pet stairs to get on the couch would result in this but its time for the dump! Not for the babies but for the couch... the are old and im sure we will all p**p on a couch in our older years so no judgment. Also still free if someone wants a couch...

We are only 155 from our goal of 700 for implants and still 71 in the hole for a vet visit! Can we reach both of those today! If so my personal paycheck can cover the upcoming vet bill on thursday!

Honey is still looking for a foster! She will be here on Saturday. She is 6 months old but very very shy and skiddish but slowly warming up. A quite calm home is a must

June is looking for a permanent foster home. She an older girl about 8 years old. She a very tiny little lady and spends her days eating and sleeping. She would do better as a single ferret as she is very selective. She came in with a mass on her tail that we had removed and does have adrenal and will be getting an implant as soon as they come in.
