Gold Dojo Loach. These peaceful, bottom-dwelling fish bring a lot of personality to a tank. Ours were certainly active this morning!

Welcome to our betta sorority! Female bettas can live together peacefully, as long as the tank is big enough and has some good hiding places.

Congratulations to our winner and thank you to everyone who participated in our photo contest! Happy Halloween!!

Halloween makes us think of spiders, and the largest ones we have are tarantulas!

Due to a family emergency, our store is closed today, Monday 10/26.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to reopening tomorrow.

Lots of fun and creativity in the entries for our Halloween-themed photo contest! Please vote for your favorite photo by giving it a "like" by October 30 at 5 p.m. CT.

Wolf Fish. Don't be fooled by the placid pose- the Wolf Fish is aggressive, predatory and strictly carnivorous. Zoom in closer and you'll see the sharp teeth that ensure this fish gets its own tank.

10/23/2026

Our deadline is approaching, so we wanted to remind everyone of the Halloween-themed photo contest for your reptiles and amphibians (details in full post October 5).

To participate, please send us your entry by Sunday, October 25 at 5 p.m. CT.

We're just puffing along in Spotted Congo and Fahaka style!
