5x5=25 which is also todays day 5/5/25 and the 1st litters 5th birthday! 🄳 5 years ago was a crazy time, and I was honestly panicking a little bit unsure how the pandemic would effect everything and I even panicked more when we had to take the puppies to the vet at a couple days old to get their tails docked and dewclaws removed and we weren’t able to go inside with them. It was an uncertain time for sure but I’m certain things ended up turning out how they were supposed to be and however our paths crossed that lead you to us I’m grateful that each one found a loving home! 🐾 Happy 5th birthday to the 1st litterā£ļø

Can you guys believe what day it is? 🄲 The second litter is turning two day and are no longer puppies! But they sure will have that puppy energy for a couple more years so no slowing down for a while! Looking at the pictures made me remember how fun it was to take care of them and how fast they grow! 9 weeks went by so fast and so did two years, here’s to making more memories! Happy 2nd Birthdayā£ļøšŸŽ‰

I decided to make Minnie some birthday cupcakes and even though she was a little too excited at first, she did end up sitting down for some pictures. Her and Minion are basically best friends since they are both high energy. Bear and Maple are also doing good and seem to enjoy when they have their alone time together. I meant to make a post earlier this year but Maple and Minnie went into heat during Christmas so no holiday photos and it felt like anytime we had snow it was just so cold and hard for the dogs to enjoy. Let’s hope spring isn’t too harsh and everyone stays safe with all the storms we’ve been having šŸ¤

Happy Monday everyone! I know it’s been a couple days since Halloween, but Minnie was acting like a teenager and not really wanting to wear her costume so it took me a couple days to try and get a decent picture. Maple on the other hand šŸ˜ let’s face it her pictures turned out great, I even bought them pumpkins earlier in October to take pictures with her and well Maple clearly has the best picture! Anyways since the last update; Bear has now been neutered (Maple is 6 and having her get pregnant again would be a bigger risk plus with Minnie it just seemed like the best decision for everyone) Since he’s been intact for most of his life I haven’t noticed any behavior changes except him marking everywhere. So anyone with an intact male knows how much they just love to mark, even if it’s just a little dribble šŸ˜‚ Luckily he’s never tried to mark up the inside of the house but it does make it easier when going outside especially in public. Maple, absolutely loves Minnie. She is an amazing mom and basically lets Minnie do whatever which is nice but you know sometimes has it’s downsides (Minnie will want to play with Maple and just start biting her face and Maple lets her. But because Maple lets her she thinks she can do it to the other two and the other ones aren’t big fans of that) So I have to be the one correcting this behavior more, besides that they all get along great and are all constantly learning new things from each other. And well Minnie, that picture of her on the propane tank should tell you enough šŸ˜…šŸ˜‚ (I have no idea where she got the idea or how she even managed to do it but she jumped on there herself and started walking on it, luckily only did it one time) But she is so curious about different things, luckily she is a good listener so she doesn’t really get herself into too much trouble. And thanks to the help of her aunt (she has the best nose out of all of them) she has discovered her love of mulberries, apples and corn! So besides being able to run around all the time outside is probably her favorite place to be! I ended up picking a lot more photos than I usually do, time has been going by so fast so hopefully I can get a nice photo of them around Christmas for our next update! Or maybe when it snows! It sure will be interesting if it snows a lot this year! Hope everybody is doing well! šŸ¤—

First lemme say, Happy Birthday to the first litter! 4 years ago they were born and definitely changed everyone’s life! šŸŽ‰Today when going back through all the pictures from 4 years ago, I realized I’ve posted a lot of the puppies from since they were first born to leaving our house but not a lot of their parents. So I figured I’d throw in a picture some pictures, the first one Maple was actually pregnant and we didn’t know at first but had suspicion when she started getting bigger and then we took her to the vet and they confirmed it (2nd picture) I think Bear and Maple knew before we did, they were always close. But Maple besides wanting to lay down most of the time wanted to be near Bear until she got closer to when she was going to give birth then she started ā€œnestingā€ and we knew it was time for her to get her own space. But it’s funny because Bear was actually the one who let us know when she started giving birth, (I wondered because she was acting weird) but he heard the puppies and started howling around 3 in the morning letting us know. I got up and Maple was already taking care of the first two that were born, from there 3 more came and then the other 4 and long story short that’s how those nine were born 4 years ago today! I really think that whole experience brought a lot more happiness into all our lives with all the craziness going on (not gonna lie though when they took the puppies in to the vets office and not let us in I got a little bit in Mom mode šŸ˜‚ that was the first time I was ever away from them) I’m not going to lie it’s hard to make these posts every year, I miss their sister a lot and have even almost called Minnie her name.
But this is also my time to thank all of you for giving them a good life for another year! šŸ’–šŸŽŠ So yay Happy 4th Birthday to the first litter!

A year ago today Maple gave birth to a litter just full of personalities! Happy 1st Birthday to all the puppies from the second litterā£ļøšŸŽ‰ I can’t believe where time has gone, seeing the photos when they were just a couple days old and then videos where they were running and bumping into each other makes me just miss them so much 🄲 even if they were more of a handful then the other litter! Even though I didn’t completely plan this litter, it does bring me joy that it happened (especially because of Minnie) and they found great families! Thank you for all you do for them and I hope everyone is doing good especially in the areas that were hit by the storm yesterday! šŸ¤
And just in a week and one day, the 1st litter will be turning 4! šŸ¤—
Of course I did have to include some pictures of Minnie from today and the cake I made, I went kind of all out but almost 8 years of baking cakes for every birthday for each of them kind of gave me practice, plus I’m not sure when we will be ready to add another addition to the family since we’re doing good with 4 dogs! 🐾

Since we’re two months into the year and 2 months closer until the second litter turns one I figured it’s time to give an update and of course see how everyone else is doing! Last year towards the end of the year we actually all went down to Florida and got to visit the beach for the first time! I honestly think stopping and going to visit different campgrounds was probably more exciting to them than the actual beach, well at least to Maple and Bear. Bear loves water and baths but did not want to step into the ocean at all and Maple followed his example so they had more fun walking up and down boardwalks and exploring the parking lots instead šŸ™„šŸ˜‚ Minnie was actually pretty brave, and decided to go in the water with her aunt Minion (husky) and was smart enough to not drink the ocean water unlike her aunt šŸ˜‚ (Bear and Maple also had no interest in drinking the ocean also, one smell and they were done) Coming back home we were greeted with a little bit of snow which was fun and then boom big storm! But hey at least I previously bought a coat for Minnie so she was ready for her first official snow! Unfortunately Minnie doesn’t yet understand the concept of a coat so she did try to rip it off her and left a big hole in some of the layers. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø Welp turns out she’s actually big enough to fit Maple’s with a little left over space so while the snow was melting she got Maple’s coat and Maple got Bear’s coat. (One thing I have to say is size up and take measurements when it comes to buying any clothing for them! A lot of clothing is made for small dogs and even if you think you have the right size because of their bulkiness or right now since Minnie is tall but skinny things just won’t fit right or will be difficult when taking off my favorite items are the ones with the strap on the chest and stomach area since they make it a lot easier to put on and take off) I also bought them sweaters as soon as I saw them in stores so once it got cold they’d be warm when we went outside. Maple LOVED hers, Bear was happy but I think only mainly because it made me happy since he did somehow take it off himself without ruining it and well like I said Minnie doesn’t understand (as you can see from her face) until she goes outside and is cold and then I put the sweater on and then she’s happy. But hey she’s becoming more photogenic now (the most recent picture of her is with the food bag) and lets me trim her nails with no problems! (Usually Bear and Maple are able to shorten theirs with the walking we do outside but I just recently bought a pair since Minnie’s were getting long) I did include a couple extra pictures because they were laying down cute in their kennels (well Bear was in Maple’s for his picture) and Maple and being a kind of bad influence on Minnie and showing her how to dig! šŸ˜‚ However she has learned to go and hide stuff outside in holes she digs and completely covers them so it works out for her that she had learned to do that! So yes we’re all doing pretty good, I think the only thing we’re struggling with is Minnie wanting to copy what the other ones want to do which is good and bad but she’s learning but still definitely has puppy brain and will still try and eat anything that looks interesting on the ground. Hope everyone else is doing well, in a couple months we’ll have 1 year olds and the 1st litter will be 4 years old šŸ„²ā¤ļø Time really flies!

Halloween came so fast this year, I didn’t really have an idea of what type of costume to get Minnie. I saw a picture of a Rottweiler with the sunflower costume and lucky me there was one left at Tractor Supply! I also went to Target and found a butterfly costume also! šŸ’–
Minnie may look cute in the first couple pictures but it’s definitely not easy putting anytime of clothes on dogs whether it’s for fun or to keep them warm. One thing I’ve learned with the others is to put the piece of clothing on and take them outside! It helps get them distracted and gets them more comfortable with the clothing. Treats also help of course, sitting down and then taking the picture while their waiting and eventually they get used to it and look forward to it and know like Maple. I put the sunflower on her and she sat down right away! Minnie looks a lot more happier that she’s wearing the flower than her šŸ˜‚ It definitely takes time and one thing I’ve learned is don’t expect to take good pictures the same day of, they have their own personalities and working with them when their more willing to sit still and not eat the clothes is a lot more easier and better pictures. (I’ll have to try to take more sunflower pictures of Minnie later on when she’s more willing) Anyways I hope everybody had a good Halloween and that everything is going well! The 2nd litter just hit 6 months old a couple days ago 🄳

It’s been a while since the last post and my has time flown by! I can’t believe just two months ago they were small little chunky puppies and now they just keep growing taller and taller everyday! Minnie is almost as tall as her mom now, I don’t even think she realizes how big she is getting until she tries to go under something and bonks herself since she can’t just easily crawl under things now. The other day I noticed her adult teeth have all came through and lining up so hopefully no one else has a land shark anymore šŸ˜† or at least not as bad as two months ago. Any weird things the puppies do that you may question that their parents do? I’ve noticed Minnie does some things her parents do but I’m not sure if it’s just things she’s inherited or because she’s watched them do it. Like rolling on bugs or laying down with her paws right in front of her when she wants something like her dad, or even determined to try to and be a lap dog like her mom. As always I love seeing updates of the puppies (both litters) and glad to answer any questions! 🩷

I saw this and thought I’d share, seems like puppies want to bite everything except their toys at times šŸ˜‚
If anyone is looking for a good brand of toys I would recommend Bark Shop, they have a lot of different toys and even ā€œsuper chewerā€ toys which I like for when they get older since it seems like they want to destroy all the soft ones after a while. šŸ˜
-
Also wanted to say, I love hearing how any of the puppies are doing and of course pictures even when they get older! Even though you as their new family will have them longer then the couple months I took care of them it still makes me happy to see and know how their doing! So don’t be scared to share or think you’ll annoy me cause it’d just make me happy! ā¤ļø

Everybody has went homeā£ļø Again thank you everyone for deciding to get a puppy from us including the families who got puppies from the first litter, I’m glad you guys get a little piece of Maple and Bear to love! 🄰 This was the last Maple x Bear litter, Bear will now be taking one for the team so we won’t be able to use him as a stud. I’m not sure what the future holds, and if we will be producing litters in the future but I do have two years to think about it. šŸ˜… I will be keeping the page up in case anyone wants to get a hold of me besides using my phone number and post updates here and there. Thank you everyone once again ā¤ļøšŸ˜Š

Everyone has found their furever homeā£ļøšŸ¾ I wasn’t able to get pictures again on the bench due to the weather on Thursday morning before we started the drop offs but they still look so cute! 🄰 Updated with pictures of the other ones so all their 9 week old pictures can be together in one post! Thank you for everyone for trusting me with your new puppy! ā¤ļø
